VACANCY ON ENVIRONMENTAL COMMISSION We have one vacancy on the Environmental Commission. We had two residents come forward expressing an interest in working with the Environmental Commission. Richard Seibert and Gregg Sgambati both were present tonight.

Following discussions on projects and routine matters at hand, it appears that Richard Seibert is willing to fill our open position on the Commission. Gregg Sgambati is interested in serving on the Green Team related to Mahwah’s participation in the Sustainable Jersey Municipal Certification Program.

A note will be sent to Mayor Martel informing him of these developments and requesting mayoral appointments.

OTHER ITEMS Karin LaGreca is working with some Mahwah volunteers for Project Porchlight to distribute energy saving light bulbs to residents on November 22.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. The next meeting of the Environmental Commission will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 475 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, N.J. 3
