2. Create a personal ID

Check I am a student

Find your expected year of graduation (hint: 2014)

Type in personal ID and password (I suggest you use the same personal ID and password that you have here at school. This way you won’t forget it!)

Write your user name ______Write your password ______.

Put in your initials (Hint: first letter of first and last name!)

Last four digits of your phone number

3. Create a new list

4. Check MLA Starter

5. Type in description is the title of your research paper.

6. Click create a list

7. At the top, it will read . . Cite a ______with a pull down menu. Click on the appropriate source that you need to use. Then, click on Create Citation

8. REMINDER: This bibliography is an annotated bibliography. The annotations for each source must explain how the source was used and how it helped you understand your topic. An annotation normally should be about 1- 3 sentences long. Examples: "This book included three letters between person X on the frontier and person Y back in New England, which provided insight into the struggles and experiences of the settlers." "This book provided four photos of settlers on the Great Plains and their homes, which were used on the exhibit."

9. To add another citation, start with #7 again. 10. ONCE YOU ARE FINISHED ENTERING ALL SOURCES, click the tab “Save as a Word Doc.” Next, click on “Export and Print.” Finally, click “okay.” The following information is needed for your citations. The * indicates information that is a MUST in order to create a citation.
