Class of 2017 Senior Year Calendar of Events As of 8/1/16

AUGUST Senior Portraits– Las Lomas Theatre Each senior should have scheduled a photo session in July at www.ciphotoca.com . These portraits will be in the yearbook and are available for purchase. In addition, every senior must also have their picture taken at TRI S for their student ID/ASB card. If your Senior missed the Las Lomas summer photo session, you must call Creative Imaging at 925-485-6025 for a Senior portrait appointment to be taken at their studio.

TRI S (Tuesday, August 16th from 8-2PM) - Senior Room Look for the SENIOR ROOM for information on all of our upcoming Senior activities. Don’t forget to purchase your SENIOR TSHIRT online through the webstore which can be picked up during TRI S. Senior Tshirts are worn for our Panoramic Class picture to be held in October. Please also consider donating to Class of 2017- all proceeds benefit our students.

Senior Welcome Back Night (August 18th from 5-8pm) - Rally Court This senior tradition kicks off the school year and all Seniors are invited to attend this free taco bar, ice cream bar, games, music and car painting! Food donations and parent volunteers will be needed to serve students and replenish supplies. Planning is underway. Contact Co-Chairs this summer if you can help. SEPTEMBER Back to School Night (Thursday, September 15th) - Theatre Senior Class Meeting will be held at the end of the evening. Don’t miss this discussion of senior year activities, including the LLHS Car Show and the All Knighter.

LLHS Car Show (Saturday, September 24th from 10-2) This fundraiser will be held at Las Lomas to raise funds for our student’s post graduation celebration – the All Knighter. Cap & Gown Orders (September 12th and 13th ) Class of 2017 Senior Year Calendar of Events As of 8/1/16 Jostens Cap and Gown order information will be available to students at brunch and lunch.

Homecoming (week of October 16th) Parent volunteers really make this. Please sign up at TRI S or via Sign Up Genius in October:  Seniors host the Homecoming Snack Shack during the game on October 21st. Proceeds benefit Class of 2017.  Float and School decorating require a multitude of supplies to be donated by our wonderful families.  Homecoming activities require adult chaperones willing to supervise practice sessions.  Rally will be held Friday, October 21st and we need parent volunteers to help with distributing balloons to 375 Seniors.

OCTOBER Senior Panoramic Picture Day (Date TBA) Seniors wear their Senior Tshirts for this class picture taken at lunchtime in the stadium bleachers.

FEBRUARY Senior Parent Info Night (Date TBA) Come and find out about the end of year activities planned for our Seniors. There will be opportunities to ask questions and volunteer for these fun events that mark their last days at Las Lomas.

MARCH Spring Fling Week (Week of March 26th)

APRIL Senior Picnic (Friday, April 28th ) Takes place on the softball field during an extended lunch period and is free to the Senior Class. Parent volunteers will be needed to help set-up and serve lunch/clean-up.

MAY Senior Ball (May 20th ) – Regency Ballroom, San Francisco Join your classmates for dancing, dessert and special unique entertainment like no other Senior Ball. We’d love to see 100% of our students attend this spectacular event!

Senior Awards (May 30th 7:00-9:30pm) – Las Lomas Gym Seniors are invited to attend this recognition for local, state and national awards. Students, families and friends are welcome to attend the desert reception hosted by the PTSA.

Senior Breakfast (May 31st 7:30-8:30am) – Las Lomas Gym Class of 2017 Senior Year Calendar of Events As of 8/1/16 This is a free catered event for our Seniors! A huge favorite for our Seniors as the school year draws to a close. Students can wear their college logo-wear. Caps & gowns will be distributed. Parent volunteers will be needed to help set-up and serve lunch/clean-up.

JUNE Senior Reflection Night (Sunday, June 4th 7:00pm) – Dean Lesher This dynamic one-hour program is planned by the students and celebrates their growth as a class. A desert reception for students and family follows the program and is hosted by the Junior Class of 2018.

Graduation (Friday, June 9th 7:00) – Las Lomas It’s finally here! Graduation night! Families and friends come together as we celebrate our students and their years at Las Lomas.

All-Knighter (Friday, June 9th) – Centre Concord A fun, safe, sober celebration exclusively for our graduates immediately following graduation. A night of indoor and outdoor games and activities, music, food, and bowling. The All-Knighter is chaired by Tina Chung and Susanna Bouzos, and hosted by the parents of a consortium of schools in Concord and Walnut Creek sharing resources and talents that make this a spectacular and fun event. Each school will be celebrating on their own night. Las Lomas’ celebration will be held Friday, June 9th immediately following the graduation ceremony.
