Over past few years, Nigerian Consumers have strongly patronised “Made in India” products and services for their reliability and cost-effectiveness.

To highlight this patronage and revalidate it, an exclusive Indian Products and Services Exhibition (IPASE) is being organised for the first-time in Nigeria. The details are as under:

Venue: 8-A, Walter Carrington Crescent, PMB 80128, Victoria Island, Lagos Timing: 0900 hrs to 1730 hrs, January 29 to February 1, 2011.

Leading Nigerian and Indian businesses engaged in Indian products and services in Nigeria will be displaying them at IPASE. The Product Range includes automobiles / parts, fans, bicycles, pumps, pharmaceutical products, dry-lace, voile and embroidery material, toiletries & cosmetics, beverages, imitation jewellery, shoes and fabrics, electrical equipment, inverters, generators, machinery, plywood/ doors etc. Services Sector would showcase healthcare, insurance, IT training and software solutions, tele-medicine networking, telecom, etc. Some stalls would also offer Indian food – a melange of both products and services!

The Exhibition will be inaugurated at 1130 hrs on Saturday, January 29, 2011 by His Excellency Mr. Mahesh Sachdev, High Commissioner of India to Nigeria at the venue given above.

IPASE is being organised by High Commission of India to Nigeria in collaboration with Nigeria – India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) as a part of the celebrations marking India’s 61st Republic Day Anniversary on January 26, 2011.
