Enhanced Provision Challenge Card- Nursery/Reception Area of Learning:- Welsh Development/Creative Development Date: 12 January Core Challenge:-  Learn Welsh colour names and recognise using flash cards.  Follow instructions in Welsh to produce different colours in paint.  Learn language pattern – ‘Ewch i nol paent glas ‘ etc. ‘Peintiwch…’ ‘pa liw sydd gen ti?’ ‘Mae gen i glas’ etc  Write colour word over dots. Extension:-  Mix 2 colours to produce another and state what colour it is (in Welsh)  Copywrite colour word for new colour made. (in Welsh) Scaffolded Challenge:-  With adult helper identify colours in Welsh and use flash cards with colour and Welsh word on to aid completion of the colour sheets.
