The Purpose of the Meeting Is

Invitation to Young Hematology meeting in Norway April 13-14th, 2015 at Rikshospitalet, Oslo.

On behalf of The Working group of Young Hematologist in the Nordic countries I have the pleasure to invite you to the second Nordic YH-Meeting in Oslo, Norway.

The purpose of the meeting is:

- share knowledge and create work-relationships across the Nordic countries now and in the future. We expect around 20-25 Nordic colleagues interested in Hematologi, MDS and microscopi to attend and hope that YOU will join us in Oslo.

Program

Monday 13th

12.00 – 13.00 Arrival and registration

12.45 – 13.00 Introduction to the meeting by the chairman MD Eirik Tjønnfjord

13.00 – 18.00 The group will be divided in two and change between:

1. Microscopi by Prof. Geir Tjønnfjord, Rikshospitalet, Oslo

2. MDS – Epidemiologi by Prof. Kirsten Grønbæk, Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen

Ca 15.30 Coffe break

19.00 Dinner Buffet

Tuesday 14th

08.30 - 10.00 Morfologi in Hematologi by MD Astrid Olsnes Kittang

10.00 - 11.30 MDS – Diagnostics by MD Ingunn Dybedal, Rigshospitalet, Oslo

11.15 - 11.30 Coffe break

11.30 - 13.00 MDS – Clinic and treatment by MD Lars Nilsson, Lund University Hospital, Sweden

13.00 – 13.30 MDS and PNH by MD Eirik Tjønnfjord

13.30  Round up and Sandwich

Reasonable travel expenses (flight economy or train 2. class) and hotel will be reimbursed by YH in the Nordic countries.
