1. What Did Leroy Say Was an Open Nerve ?

EVANGELISM

Cassette tape #780, by Leroy Eims Open Nerve Evangelism, is available to borrow or purchase at the Discipleship Tape Library, 435 W. Boyd, Norman, OK 73069.

I would suggest that the tape be stopped just before Leroy lists the four “open nerves”. Before resuming the message, challenge those in the group to list the four things they would consider to be basic needs of people in our society today.

1. What did Leroy say was an “open nerve”? 2. What were the open nerves that he talked about? Why do you think he chose those four? 3. Which of these would you think is the most prominent need? Why? 4. How could you go about finding out what a person’s needs are? 5. How would you summarize Leroy’s approach to evangelism? What do you think of this approach? 6. What did Leroy say was essential in being a good witness? Would you list anything else? 7. How far do you take Leroy’s stance that the Word of God is the only thing a man needs in order to minister to people?
