2015 Regional Golf Tournament Itinerary

Boys---Leave Sunday, April 12 @ 8:30---student parking lot.

Traveling by Suburban---Coach Arnold driving

Hotel---Hampton Inn & Suites 2501 Market Place Dr. Waco, Tx. 76711 254 662 9500

Playing Cottonwood Creek---just down the street from the hotel

Boys practice rounds at 2:10/2:15 pm on Sunday. Competition will be on Monday/Tuesday. Will have T-times for Monday after the Coaches Meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday Return home after Tuesdays round and awards.

Parents---we will need a signed statement if you wish to transport your golfer home.

CHECKLIST-----DO NOT FORGET TO PACK 1. Golf Bag/Clubs (make sure you have your putter) 2. Golf Balls/Tees/Rangefinder 3. Golf Shoes/Glove 4. Rain Gear—Weather should be really nice. Highs in 70’s/80’s---Lows in 60’s. Sunday—80% rain. Monday—40% rain. Tuesday ---30% rain. Coaches will have the umbrellas, if needed. 5. Team shirts/shorts for competition---white/black on Monday—blue/khaki on Tuesday.. 6. Any medication you might take. 7. Spending money ($5.00 per meal--$15.00 per day is allocated for meals by the district. Breakfast will be at the hotel each day). 8. Any special snacks that you might want. We will have the snack box and cooler during the round. 9. Swimsuit---hotel has indoor pool. 10. Extra socks—(Good idea to stow an extra pair in your golf bag) 11. Weather is unpredictable in Waco---may want to carry a jacket. 12. Remember that only coaches can give you anything during your round . 13. Remember you cannot talk to spectators during your round. Only coaches may talk to you Spectator may cheer you on. Do not risk a DQ. No undue delay on the turns.
