Job Summary: The Digital Product Sales Specialist is responsible for the sale and installation of the assigned product or products with existing or prospective customers across OSV Offertory Solutions and AmericanChurch. Goals are set by the Associate Sales Manager and are aligned with the overall goals for Offertory Solutions. The Digital Product Sales Specialist must posseses in-depth knowledge about the assigned products and services and must be able to demonstrate product details while also presenting the product as a solution to customer needs. The Digital Product Sales Specialist must also be able to describe the role the product plays as part of overall solution offerings to enhance offertory and to improve communications for churches. This role is often teamed with other representatives and is in part a support role. The Digital Product sales specialist is expected to respond quickly to leads and questions and to complete the sale of the product. Digital Product Sales Specialist reports to the Associate Sales Manager.
Essential Job Functions (*=Non-essential tasks): Meet sales objectives and forecasts Applied knowledge of the function and use of the assigned products Operate within the annual expense budget established for the territory Accurately forecast the future sales results of current sales activities Maintain, cultivate and expand existing customers in line with company growth strategies Organize projects, trainings or activities which support sales objectives Report all knowledge and information regarding sales activities,customers gained and lost, competitive activities, results of marketing programs, etc. to management Inform the customers of the latest church offertory products and the market trends Travel will be required fro some outside sales Works closely with the territory sales representative to close the sale All other duties as assigned
Requirements: Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 0 to 5+ years experience or a combination of education and experience Skills and Abilities: Strong sales and solution development capabilities Ability to make sound and logical judgments Service oriented approach, flexible and proactive towards changing clients' needs Determination to reach challenging goals and create business opportunities Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement Actively develop commercial initiatives Open and clear communicator Understands clients' needs Set goals and deadlines and plans to deliver effectively Recognize problems reacting quickly and effectively to resolve them Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Able to conduct research into issues and products as required Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong customer service orientation Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Working Environment: Incumbent will work primarily in an office environment Job function requires extensive work using a computer Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs
