Classroom Materials needed every day! Global Studies textbook Global Studies Journal Composition book for notes Loose leaf paper for bell ringers, in-class assignments and homework Pencils/pens(blue or black only please) Art supplies when needed
Grading Global Studies grades are based on the following: Daily assignments, due at the beginning of class Late work is accepted the following day for ½ credit and must be placed in the late work folder In class assignments, bell ringers and labs Note check (daily notes, journaling, key terms) Projects Quizzes (1 to 3 day notice given) Quests (assessment between a quiz and a test, 1 week notice given) Chapter tests (1 week notice given) Midterms and final exams Classroom Conduct and Consequences Students are required to follow school and classroom procedures that promote a positive learning environment for all students. Show respect to yourself, your classmates and teacher. Come to class prepared to work every day. Do your personal best.
Rules to remember Please do not talk when Mrs. Reyes is talking. Leave all electronic devices in your locker unless otherwise specified. Do your own work (cheating of any kind will result in loss of points and a possible office referral or detention). Participate positively during class. No candy or gum without a pass Do not pack up before the end of class, I will give you “the two minute warning”
