But yes if possible.

Over half the comments would like staff training, including soft the LPC to do to help you skills, technical, pro-active communication skills, on a few different towards this dates, including front line staff and with continued support, some even said to be spoon fed.
Would like HLP to be promoted, advertised and receive information and to communicate timescales and keep in regular contact – give plenty of notice of events/training.
Other comments included, money, transparency of funding development of quality standards, provide benchmark model standards, and delivery levels.
2. Over a quarter of comments again were to have training and to be kept informed and receive updates on developments of HLP and to promote HLP to the public and other health professionals and advertise and explain the benefits to patients and staff. Support too with paperwork
Funding issues were mentioned several times, including practical cost/ergonomics involved in implementing change to meet needs of HLP
Other comments included, use data to commission services, benchmarking, tips required to give quality service, planned structure, I’m in a multiple therefore may need permission from managers of Lloyds, and try and persuade all Pharmacists to achieve this
3. Promote information in the area, advertise to public so they are actively looking for a HLP.
Staff development and training, support and guidance through the process, explaining what are the next steps, and to be kept up to date via newsletters and with follow up meetings.
Commitment and guidance long term.
What are the funding implications – setting up costs – staff leave for training, promoting this services to all the patient.
Other comments received were, commissioning of New Initiative services, IT Support for evidence recording, liaise with GP, help reduce “admin”, expectations, networking, incentive???? and to create an area wide i.e. website for public to log in for more information.

Any other comments Very positive feedback including; interactive enjoyable evening, very motivating, well done, an excellent way forward for the community, I am keen on the concept of a HLP and this initiative will positively improve the wider public’s perception of pharmacy, Very useful and exciting subject, and fact taking on board our views is very important. Makes us appreciate our views
Other comments included: wasn’t sure what to expect or what it was all about but a very clear message delivered. Professional throughout the evening, HLP provided by Pharmacist as professional not as employee of independent.
Couple of negative comments were, too many people, short time and noise and found the table/questions a bit repetitive. Thank you for taking the trouble to complete the form, please place in the box in the foyer or send to: 17 Clematis Tye, Springfield, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 6GL
