Profile: I am a performer, writer, choreographer, musician and theatre-maker. I am pas- sionate about cross art-form experimentation and collaboration, and making ac- cessible, innovative work. I am a very hardworking individual with a can-do at- titude and good sense of initiative, I am a generous collaborator and I enjoy be- ing challenged. I wrote and performed my current one-woman show Little Ter- rors at The Roundhouse London as part of Accidental Festival, The Great Northern Playhouse, Manchester, UK Young Artists Festival, Square Chapel Halifax, Plymouth Fringe Festival, Story City Festival 2015 and Mediterranea 17 Young Artists Biennale in Milan. Following scratch performances at York Theatre Royal, Derby Theatre, Middlesbrough Empire and Yorkshire Dance.

Experience: I have trained with many acclaimed companies in physical/dance theatre inten- sive workshops, including RJC, NDT, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Vincent Dance Theatre, Complicite, Earthfall, Company Chameleon, Candoco, Punch- drunk, Blind Summit, Champloo and Hofesh Shechter. These were invaluable for expanding my ideas of what is possible as a maker/performer. Live work: 2016: Artistic Director for R&D of Sex In Real Life, shown at CAST. 2015: Movement director for York Shakespeare Project’s Timon of Athens. 2014: Wrote and performed one-woman musical The Christmas Live Survival Guide with 5 original songs, shown at Northern Art Festival. 2014: Performed in New Art Club’s Hercules at CAST in Doncaster. 2014: Collaborated with Four Shadows Theatre Company on their adaptation of The Red Shoes, performed at ADAM festival Acomb, FEVA Festival Knaresborough, Beacons, and York centre. 2014: I choreographed and performed the character Mad Alice in Ruby Clarke’s interactive site-specific theatre production Night of the Barghest in as- sociation with York Theatre Royal. 2013: I collaboratively devised and performed in The Red Tree with Feather- weight, which enjoyed a successful run and critical acclaim at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has been performed across the country. 2013: I am currently collaborating with playwright Isley Lynn on Dust, a cross- disciplinary show about infidelity, a work in progress was shown at The Cock- pit, London in 2013. 2012: Movement directed sequences for Featherweight’s immersive theatre piece A Tale of Gilead. 2011: Collaboratively created an independent dance theatre work on two dancers and three circus artists about Christmas and community – The Xmas Project - performed at Circomedia and the DanceSpace in Bristol. 2010: Collaborated and performed for R&D on various projects, two of which, All of Me and All of Me (Without You) were performed at The Tobacco Factory’s Prototype platform. 2008: Co-devised and executed a dance piece and accompanying workshops created for Exeter University Art’s Week.

Film: 2014: Choreographed and performed in dance film Dust as part the ongoing live project of the same name. 2011: Created a dance film, Mermer which was screened at the Student Interna- tional Festival of Dance, Bristol Millennium Square and Bristol Watershed cin- ema.

Teaching/Community dance: 2014: Ran sellout IdeasTap Spa for writers and performers as part of Dust. 2013: Taught open workshops for the Dust audition process 2011: Taught open workshops as part of R&D for The Xmas Project 2010: Worked as a teaching assistant and cover teacher for youth dance classes at Bristol Community Dance Centre.

Music: I am a keen singer; I sang and performed - sometimes given solos - with Exeter University’s Soul Choir, and I performed with the University Music Scholars having been awarded a music scholarship in my second year. I write and perform music on guitar, piano, ukulele and bass, and have written three albums. I co-composed and performed the score for Exeter University Theatre Company’s 2008 production of Lysistrata, for All of Me (2009) All of Me (Without You) (2011), and Four Shadows Theatre’s The Red Shoes (2014). For Christmas 2014 I wrote and performed a musical; The Christmas Live Sur- vival Guide, and I have a solo cabaret music act called Be Still My Heart with which I performed at events including Leeds’ Nexus festival, Sheffield Tram- lines Festival, Theatre Delicatessen’s Horror Souk, and Wordlife.
