WORK/EXPERIENCE Freelance Colorguard/Winterguard Instructor (Various NC Schools) August 2008- November 2011  Instructed award-winning colorguards- Marching band received Grand Champion and 1st place colorguard trophies.  Trained students in the fundamentals of dance and flag/rifle/sabre technique.  Designed visually interesting shows based on musical principles and interpretation.

Cucalorus Film Festival (Wilmington, NC) August 2009- November 2011  Printed tickets, organized ticket packages, and main personnel that operated the ticket booth during the festival.  Responded to customer’s questions and needs.  Researched film festivals in the American Southeast and updated festival scheduling database.

Drum Corps International Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corp (Rockford, IL) Summer 2009-2010  Trained for one month, 12+ hours a day outdoors in all types of weather.  Competed in 35 performances in 25 states for two months.  Practiced intense mental and physical focus for long periods of time.
