Brothers please mark your calendars for the following Knighthood (3rd) Degree Exemplification.

Date: SATURDAY May 14th, 2016

Location: Conseil Sigone Council 6348, Knights of Columbus Hall, 2648 Second Division Road, Saulnierville, NS

Time: 1:00 for 1:30 p.m. Light snack, soup and sandwich served following the Degree.

District Deputies are required to poll their Councils and report to the State Ceremonial and Protocol Chairman the number of candidates and members attending from their district no later than WEDNESDAY, May 4th. Even if you do not have candidates, please provide a ‘nil’ report.

Grand Knights are requested to contact their Financial Secretaries and remind them to notify ALL 2nd Degree members of this opportunity to obtain their 3rd Degree.

Grand Knights are to contact the Host District Deputy and report the number of candidates and members attending from their Council no later than MONDAY, May 2 nd .

1 Gentlemen we strongly encourage all third degree Brothers to attend this new Degree. You will be truly edified by its beauty and spirituality. Medallions honoring this degree are available to all who attend at a cost of $5.00 each. Grand Knights bringing candidates should come prepared to purchase a Medallion for each of their candidates. Remember that all candidates are required to have a current membership card.

The Exemplification of the Knighthood Degree is a special event, one that will always be remembered. Therefore, proper dress is required of the candidates and members attending the degree. The proper business attire of suit and tie, or jacket and tie, slacks and shoes and the Council Name badge are considered appropriate dress (shorts, t-shirts, and sandals are not considered acceptable dress for candidates and members). Attending District Deputies are required to wear their Ceremonial Robe, District Deputy Name badge on their jacket pocket and Jewel of Office over their robe. State Officers are required to wear their Jewel of Office and Name badge.

District Deputies, Grand Knights and Degree Teams invest considerable effort and time in the presentation of a degree. Members are asked to support this effort and their candidates by attending as many degrees as possible. Your participation adds dignity and elevates the importance of the degree by your presence. The more you attend the more you will be edified by their lessons.
