HR RECRUITMENT ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Recruiting Manager, the Human Resources Recruitment Administrator is responsible for the pre and post recruiting processes, is the process owner for the RTA Career Hub, works with Department Hiring Managers to develop/implement recruiting plans and utilize selection tools to recruit the “best candidate” for career openings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  Post all internal and external vacant career openings to the RTA Career Hub, Career Websites and Industry Publications.  Works with Hiring Department Managers to develop specific recruitment plan and is responsible to implement this plan.  Manage Pre-Hire Processes:  Background Checks  Drug Testing  Pre-Employment Testing  Functional Capacity Test (Physical Ability Testing)  Conduct Pre-Screening Phone Interviews  Assist Department Hiring Manager with the Preparation of Interview Questions  Schedule Interviews with Department Hiring Managers and Candidates  Manage Post-Hire Process:  Prepare Job Offer Packet (w/Offer Letter)  Notify Non-Selected Candidates  Send New Hire Announcements w/Picture  Assist Recruiting Manager with the New Hire On-Boarding Process o Send the New Hire On-Boarding E-Mail Reminder o Manage New Hire On-Boarding Logistics (rooms, a/v equipment) o Assist Wellness Coordinator with Onboarding Lunch o Confirm New Hire On-Boarding Date w/New Hires  Enter New Hires into the Vista PDS System, updates system and complete post-hire forms and documents  Assists Recruiting Manager with the implementation of Community Job Fairs.  Assist Recruiting Manager with Training (i.e. PDS Vista Recruiting).  Write/Update Recruiting Standard Operating Procedures.  Supports other HR Functions as needed (Receptionist Breaks/Lunches, etc.).  Requires punctuality and regular attendance.  Supports the mission, vision goals and Core Values of the RTA.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: The above description covers the most significant duties performed but does not include other occasional work that may be assigned which would be similar, related or a logical assignment to the position.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Human Resources or equivalent preferred. Associates degree required or equivalent work experience in Human Resources (i.e. Recruiting, Payroll and Benefits). Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDS Vista Applicant Tracking System (or other automated on-line applicant tracking system) and Business Office Equipment. Must have the ability to interpret RTA policies, procedures and union contracts. Must have analytical and organizational skill. Must be able to work independently. Responsible for the accuracy of personnel data entered into the Vista PDS System. This is an exempt position and may work over and some weekend schedules. Work location may impose frequent interruptions or distractions.

This position is an exempt Pay Grade 12 position with a starting salary of $35,144 - $45,180.
