WESTCHASE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION, INC. VOTING MEMBERS MEETING April 14, 2015 MINUTES

I. CALL TO ORDER WCA President, Joaquin Arrillaga, called the Voting Members Meeting to order at 7:05 PM. There were 2,265 members of the Association represented by the presence of the Voting Members. The notice was also posted on the WCA marquees on Apr 10, 2015.

II. III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by those present.

IV. Minutes Approval of Meeting Minutes for March 17, 2015 Monthly

Carlos Quiros made the motion to approve the Mar 17, 2015 monthly meeting minutes. Ed Siler seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 20 – 0

V. New Business

 Voting Member Training Session – - Material was provided and reviewed by Jon Ellis, legal counsel (Shumaker Loop & Kendrick)

 Presentation by Robinson H.S. – Disaster Action Team Plan - Presentation was made by Brandon Osowski, student at Robinson H.S. and resident of Westchase, for implementing a Disaster Action Team in case of an emergency such as hurricane, fire, etc… - After presentation was completed, Ruben Collazo stepped up as lead volunteer to take over creating the team and implementing the actions proposed.

 Consider Amending Color Palette to Include a Trim Only Color

VM Meeting Minutes Apr 14, 2015 p. 1 of 2 Ruben Collazo made the motion to approve moving forwarding with proposing a guideline change to the color palette to add SW#6107 to the “trim only” option. Ralph Caputo seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 18-2 (Harbor Links/ SF of WPV)

As a result of the motion, a proposed guideline change will be addressed at the May and June VM meetings as required by the Associations Documents.

 Castleford Storm Door Guideline-Initial Approval

Bill Dennis made the motion to initially approve the Castleford storm door guideline. Mary Griffin seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 20-0

 Keswick Forest Mailbox Guideline – Initial Approval

Mary Griffin made the motion to initially approve the Keswick Forest mailbox guideline. Ruben Collazo seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 20-0

 Security Camera Guideline Amendment – Initial Approval

Ruben Collazo made the motion to initially approve the security camera guideline amendment. Mary Griffin seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed 20-0
