INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - KITCHEN - DAY
MEREDITH, 44, is standing over the stove making breakfast for her husband and kids.
She's cooking eggs, bacon, sausage, and whipping up a batch of blueberry pancakes.
INT. PARENTS' BEDROOM
RICHARD, 46, is standing in front of the mirror in his work suit and adjusting his tie.
RICHARD (To himself.) You will win this case today if it's the last thing you do.
INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
SAMANTHA, 17, is lying in bed when her alarm clock starts going off in her ear.
She lazily slaps around for the alarm clock and knocks it to the ground, breaking it.
SAM Shit.
She slowly pulls the covers off her, sits up in her bed, and wipes her eyes.
INT. BRANDON'S BEDROOM
Brandon, 18, is climbing through his window because he snuck out last night and is just getting back in.
He falls to the floor. Samantha opens his bedroom door and looks inside to see him lying on the floor.
SAM What are you doing?
BRANDON (Playing it cool.) What are you doing?
SAM Waking you up.
BRANDON I'm awake.
Samantha rolls her eyes and closes the door as she goes about her business.
INT. KITCHEN
Meredith pours pancake mix onto the frying pan and walks over to the cabinet by the fridge to get out the syrup.
She turns her attention towards the swinging door in the kitchen to see her youngest daughter, CHRISTINE, 7, run inside.
CHRISTINE Mommy!
MEREDITH What's wrong, honey?
Christine holds out "Patty" her doll.
CHRISTINE Patty's sick. Can we take her to the doctor's house?
MEREDITH How about I take her while you're at school and when you get back she'll be all better? CHRISTINE OK.
MEREDITH Now how about you and Patty get ready for breakfast?
Christine makes her way over to the kitchen table and sits Patty down in a chair.
MEREDITH Christine, sweetie, do mommy a favor and tell everyone breakfast is ready.
CHRISTINE OK.
INT. HALLWAY
Brandon stands on the other side of the bathroom door knocking on it roughly.
BRANDON Samantha, open the door! You've been in there for twenty minutes!
SAM (OS) Chill out! I'll be out in a second! Stop being an asshole!
BRANDON You're not the only one in the house who needs to take a shower.
SAM (OS) Well if you weren't out all night and got to bed at a decent time then you could've got in here before me!
BRANDON Quit being a bitch!
SAM (OS) Brandon, do us all a favor and go fuck yourself!
Samantha opens the bathroom door to see Brandon standing there with their father.
RICHARD I heard that.
SAM I have a feeling I'm not going out tonight, am I?
RICHARD Nope.
Richard smiles and makes his way down the steps.
Samantha looks over to Brandon who is laughing at her.
SAM Shut up.
She pokes him in the arm, but he pinches her in the ribs and runs into the bathroom.
SAM Ouch!
Christine comes walking up behind her and grabs her by the hand to get her attention.
SAM (Smiling.) Hi, beautiful. What's up?
CHRISTINE Mommy wanted me to come tell you it's time for breakfast.
SAM OK. I'll be right down.
CHRISTINE Samantha, what's an asshole? Samantha smiles and answers her.
SAM Your brother.
INT. KITCHEN
Meredith and Richard are sitting down at the table eating the food she prepared.
Christine comes running into the kitchen and jumps into the chair with Patty.
CHRISTINE They're coming!
Meredith takes a sip of her milk and turns her attention towards her husband.
MEREDITH So how are you feeling about today, honey?
RICHARD Not bad. Just hoping I can put this guy away, you know?
CHRISTINE (To Meredith.) What's today?
Meredith looks at her daughter and smiles.
MEREDITH Well, honey, your dad is working on a very important case. If he wins he'll put the bad man in jail where he can't hurt anyone anymore.
CHRISTINE I hope you win, daddy.
Richard looks at her and smiles.
RICHARD Thanks, sweetie. Samantha and Brandon make their way into the kitchen and grab a seat at the table.
MEREDITH I'm glad you guys finally decided to join us for breakfast.
SAM Sorry, mom.
The family starts eating their breakfast together.
Meredith remembers something that she planned on asking Samantha and Brandon earlier.
MEREDITH Which one of you are taking the car today to school?
BRANDON I am.
SAM Kate is stopping by and giving me a ride this morning.
Meredith takes a bite of her food and looks to Brandon.
BRANDON What's wrong?
MEREDITH I need a favor from you.
BRANDON Oh, God. Please tell me you're not going to ask me what I think you're going to ask me.
MEREDITH I need you to take Christine to school this morning. Brandon gets aggravated.
BRANDON Isn't there a bus or something that she can take?
MEREDITH She's your sister. Can't you just do me this one favor?
BRANDON I guess.
A horn beeps.
Samantha takes a sip of her milk and grabs her dished to make her way to the sink.
SAM That's Kate.
Richard turns his attention to Sam as she grabs her books from the kitchen table.
RICHARD Don't forget, Samantha. Straight home after school.
SAM (Rolling eyes.) I know.
Samantha gives her mother, father, and sister a hug before she heads out the door.
She then gets to her brother and rubs her hand through his hair and smiles.
SAM See you later, dork.
Samantha exits.
Meredith finishes her glass of milk.
BRANDON So why can't you take Christine to school today?
MEREDITH I told your Aunt Jane that I would take her to the doctor's.
Brandon looks to Christine.
BRANDON Come on, munchkin.
CHRISTINE OK, asshole.
Richard almost spits out his milk and looks over to Meredith to see she's just as shocked as he is.
RICHARD Don't you ever say that word again, young lady. Where on the earth did you hear that word?
CHRISTINE I heard Samantha call Brandon it this morning when she wouldn't come out of the potty.
Richard glances back over to Meredith.
RICHARD She just earned herself a Saturday, Meredith.
MEREDITH OK.
Brandon and Christine excuse themselves from the table.
Richard finishes up his coffee.
MEREDITH Are you nervous? RICHARD More than you know. It's never taken this long for a jury to reach it's verdict.
MEREDITH It's going to work out in your favor. All the evidence points to this guy.
RICHARD That's why I find it hard to believe we haven't executed this guy already.
MEREDITH I just wish they could find the other three men who helped him. It makes me sick to know they're still out there on the prowl.
RICHARD Give it time. The police will catch them soon enough. It's their job.
Meredith thinks for a second.
MEREDITH Can you just imagine how it felt for those families?
RICHARD I can't.
MEREDITH To watch each other die in such brutal ways is unbearable.
RICHARD That's why these men need to go where they belong.
Meredith looks up to the clock. MEREDITH You better get going. It's almost about that time.
The two of them stand up and give one another a hug and a kiss on the lips.
MEREDITH Today's the day. You got this in the bag, honey.
RICHARD I hope so.
CUT TO:
EXT. SUBURBAN STREET - DAY
Samantha and KATE, her friend, are driving down the street in Kate's convertible.
They have the windows down and the music playing lowly in the background.
KATE I can't believe your father actually grounded you.
SAM Believe it.
KATE I always thought your family was so cool, you know.
SAM You thought wrong.
The two of them laugh as they slowly come to a stop at a stop sign.
Kate reaches into her purse and pulls out a pack of cigarettes and lights one up.
SAM I thought you quit. KATE Now why would I do a stupid thing like that?
SAM One, it can kill you. Two, your boyfriend doesn't want you smoking.
KATE Well, what he doesn't know isn't going to kill him, is it?
Samantha starts laughing at her.
KATE Speaking of boyfriends. When the hell are we going to find you a boyfriend?
SAM I don't know, but did you see the new boy at school?
KATE No, why?
SAM Oh, my God! This guy is fuckin' gorgeous, Kate. You will die!
CUT TO:
EXT. MERRITSVILLE ELEMENTERY SCHOOL - DAY
Brandon is parked on the side of the road right next to Christine's school.
BRANDON Do you got it from here or do you want me to talk in with you?
CHRISTINE It's OK. We line up with our teacher before we go inside.
BRANDON OK. Have fun.
CHRISTINE Bye.
Christine gets out the car and runs up to her friends and starts laughing.
Brandon starts up the car, music blares, and he pulls off down the street.
CUT TO:
INT. MEREDITH'S CAR - DAY
Meredith and her sister are driving down the street when they come to a red light.
JANE I told him I need glasses. I don't know why he doesn't believe me.
MEREDITH He's a doctor. I'm sure he would know if you need glasses or not.
JANE Not glasses. Contact, Meredith. I need contacts.
MEREDITH What's the difference?
JANE They're better for me, OK. It's a proven fact.
MEREDITH Does Dr. Greene even know you're coming this morning?
JANE He's going to know when he sees me waiting in his office?
Meredith shakes her head.
MEREDITH Where's mom? I haven't talked to her in two days.
JANE She's gone. You know this. She's went away with Mr. Thompson.
MEREDITH She actually went away with her therapist to the Bahamas?
JANE 3:00PM, Wednesday night. Doesn't she tell you this stuff?
MEREDITH Guess not.

INT. COURTROOM - DAY
Richard walks through the courtroom doors to see everyone settling in and getting ready.
RICHARD (Murmurs.) Today's the day.
Richard takes his place.
CUT TO:
EXT. MERRITSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL - DAY
Samantha and Kate are making their way through the crowd of students to get to Kate's car.
What they don't know is that they're being watched in the distance by someone parked on the side of the road.
SAM I'm going to die tonight. Stuck inside the house with my parents and my brother is going to kill me.
KATE You'll survive. I'll call you. Why don't you see if you can talk them into letting me come over?
SAM Yeah, I doubt they're going to let that happen when I'm grounded.
KATE They love me. I'm like one of the family with them.
SAM (Smiling.) I wouldn't want you to die along with me, Kate.
KATE I don't think I'd die. I like Brandon. I think he's hot.
Samantha rolls her eyes and looks at her.
SAM That's disgusting. You do realize who you're talking about, don't you?
KATE Well, while you're dying I'll be in your brother's bedroom and we'll be...
SAM Stop it! I don't want to hear it. Please spare me the details.
The two of them start laughing.

INT. KATE'S CAR - DAY
The two girls are driving down the street with the music playing in the background.
Samantha opens up her purse and pulls out her lip balm and looks into the mirror on the visor.
She starts applying the balm to her lips when she sees the reflection of the car that was sitting at her school driving behind them.
Kate looks to her.
KATE What's wrong?
Samantha looks back at the car.
SAM That car's been following us ever since we left school.
Kate peeks back at the car.
KATE Are you sure?
SAM I'm sure.
Kate's car comes to a stop once they reach Samantha's house and the car behind them continues on.
They look at her.
KATE That was creepy. Would you have died if they stopped too? SAM Yes.
They two of them start laughing.
CUT TO:
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - DAY
Samantha walks through the front door to be greeted by her mother and father.
SAM Hey.
Richard and Meredith look at Samantha with smiles.
MEREDITH Guess what, sweetie.
SAM What?
Meredith looks to Richard.
MEREDITH Should you tell her or should I tell her, honey?
RICHARD You can.
Meredith looks back to her daughter.
MEREDITH Your father won the case that he was working on.
SAM (Excited.) Oh, my God!
She gives both a hug and kiss.
SAM That's awesome, dad. Are you guys going out to celebrate?
MEREDITH We made reservations for dinner later tonight. Where's Brandon?
SAM I don't know. I drove home with Kate, remember?
MEREDITH That's right. Well, if you see him tell him Mr. Wells called and he doesn't have to go into work tonight.
SAM OK. I'll tell him. Are you guys going somewhere right now?
MEREDITH We're going to pick up Christine from school. We have a meeting with her Ms. Johnston to attend.
SAM OK.
Meredith and Richard start making their out the front door, but they come to a stop as Meredith turns back around.
MEREDITH The cable company called earlier to set up a routine inspection for today. They should be here around six. We might be here by then or we might not.
SAM OK. Have fun.
Meredith and Richard head out the door. INT. LIVING ROOM
Samantha makes her way into the living room and sits down on the couch and turns on the T.V.
She reaches over the end of the couch and grabs the telephone off a small end table and starts dialing.
KATE (OS) Hello?
SAM Hey Kate.
KATE (OS) Oh, hey. What's up?
SAM Not much. I left my purse in your car and was wondering if you could drop by later and give it to me.
KATE (OS) I'm actually going out with Brian tonight, but I can stop by afterwards and give it to you.
SAM OK. Cool. Call me later, OK?
KATE (OS) OK. Bye.
Samantha hangs up the phone and starts flipping through the channels on the television.
The telephone starts ringing.
She answers.
SAM Hello. No one's on the other end.
SAM Hello?
Someone can be heard breathing into the phone.
SAM Knock it off, Brandon. Where the heck are you at?
The breathing continues.
SAM (Curious.) Hello?
Whoever was on the other end hangs up and all she hears is a dial tone.
She then hangs up the phone.
It starts ringing again, but this time she hesitate to answer it, but does.
SAM Hello?
No one answers her.
SAM Who is this?!
VOICE (OS) Ma'am, this is Ben calling about your cable inspection today.
SAM (Relieved.) Oh, hello.
VOICE (OS) I was calling to confirm your appointment for six o'clock tonight. SAM OK. That's fine.
VOICE (OS) OK. Thank you, ma'am. You have a good day now and take care.
SAM You too.
Samantha hangs up the telephone.
The front door can be heard opening up.
SAM Brandon?!
BRANDON (OS) Yeah?!
Brandon makes his way into the living room.
BRANDON What's up?
SAM Not much. Just sitting around looking stupid and being grounded.
BRANDON Oh, come on. It's not that bad. Call Kate or someone and talk.
SAM Everyone's going out tonight. I'm the outcast.
BRANDON (Smiling.) Christine called me an asshole today. She thought it was OK because she heard you call me it this morning. SAM (Laughing.) Really?!
BRANDON I knew that would cheer you up. Do you want to know the best part?
SAM What's that?
BRANDON Dad said you're going to be punished Saturday night also.
Brandon grins and walks off.
SAM (Murmurs.) Jerk.

INT. MERRITSVILLE ELEMENTERY SCHOOL - CLASSROOM - DAY
Meredith and Richard walk into the classroom to be greeted with big hugs by Christine.
MEREDITH Hi, sweetie.
CHRISTINE Come quick. I have a picture I drew for you and daddy today.
Meredith follows Christine to a wall in the classroom where all the pictures were hung up.
Richard starts to follow them.
MRS. PRATT Mr. Parker?
Richard stops and turns around to see Christine's teacher standing behind him.
RICHARD Oh, hello. You must be Christine's teacher, Mrs. Pratt, right?
MRS. PRATT That's me.
Meredith walks up to the two of them.
RICHARD This is my wife.
The two ladies exchange hands and shake.
MEREDITH I'm Meredith. It's nice to finally meet you.
MRS. PRATT I'm Mrs. Pratt. It's nice to finally meet you as well.
MEREDITH So what's all of this about today? Do we have to punish her?
MRS. PRATT Well, I was hoping we could talk about your daughter's performance here in the classroom.
CUT TO:
EXT. PARKER RESIDENCE - EVENING
BEN, the cable guy, stands on the front porch after knocking on the door.
He's standing there for a few seconds when the door opens up and we see Samantha standing there.
BEN Hi there. Is this the Parker residence, ma'am?
SAM Yes. You're hear to check the cable, right?
BEN Right.
SAM Come in.
Samantha steps to the side and lets the man make his way into her house.
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - HALLWAY
Samantha closes the door and turns around to see Ben standing there looking at her.
BEN Where's the television?
SAM Living room.
Ben turns around to see that the living room was practically right next to him.
He smiles.
BEN Man, I swear I'm going blind.
SAM You would get along with my aunt just fine.
BEN Why's that?
SAM I was kidding. She's a little neurotic and recently she's been complaining about her vision, calling all the doctors whack jobs, but she's the whack job.
Ben starts laughing.
BEN Sounds like we got ourselves a match made in heaven.
SAM Yeah.
The two of them start laughing.
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - LIVING ROOM
Ben makes his way into the living room and heads over to the T.V. in the corner of the room.
Samantha follows right behind him.
SAM Would you like me to get you a glass of water or something?
BEN Oh, please.
SAM Sure.
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - KITCHEN
Samantha stands in kitchen as she opens up the cabinet and pulls out a glass cup.
She turns around to make her way to the fridge and sees Brandon standing behind her.
He startled her.
SAM Jesus.
BRANDON What are you doing? Who's that guy in there? SAM Cable guy. He's doing a routine check of some sort.
BRANDON What's the cup for?
SAM He's thirsty.
Samantha opens up the fridge and pulls out a bottle water.
BRANDON Well, I'm out of here. I have to go to work.
SAM Oh, I almost forget to tell you. Mr. Wells called earlier and said you didn't have to come in tonight.
BRANDON Are you serious?
SAM Yeah.
BRANDON Awesome! I can start on my paper now and be done by nine.
SAM What's happening at nine?
BRANDON I told Ashley I'd take her to the movies tonight.
Samantha fills up the glass cup with the bottle of water and drops a few ice cubes in it.
BRANDON Where's mom? SAM She and dad had to go get Christine from school because they had a meeting with her teacher.
BRANDON OK. Cool. Well, I'll be up in my room if you need me.
SAM OK.
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - LIVING ROOM
Samantha makes her way into the living with the glass of water in her hand.
SAM Here you go.
Ben turns around from behind the television and takes the glass of water from her.
BEN Thank you.
SAM You're welcome.
Ben sits the water on the television.
BEN So do you live in this house all alone or with family?
SAM Family.
BEN I bet this house is pretty creepy at night. Being that it's so isolated out here on all this land.
SAM It can be. Ben is done with the check up.
BEN I'm going to need someone eighteen or older to sign this.
SAM Oh.
BEN How old are you?
SAM Seventeen. My brother's eighteen. Let me call him for you.
INT. BRANDON'S BEDROOM
Brandon is sitting down in front of his computer with his head phones on and the music blasting.
SAM Brandon.
He doesn't hear her.
She walks over and taps him on the shoulder.
He takes off the head phones and look at her.
BRANDON What's up?
SAM You need to come sign this form for the cable guy.
BRANDON Why can't you do it?
SAM Not eighteen.
CUT TO: INT. RICHARD'S MERCEDES
Richard is behind the wheel of his car and driving down the street to get home.
Meredith is sitting in the passenger's side and Christine is playing in the back.
MEREDITH Christine, sweetie, your father and I are so proud of you.
CHRISTINE Thank you, mommy.
MEREDITH We're going to take you for ice cream, OK?
CHRISTINE (Excitedly.) Yay!
Meredith looks to Richard.
MEREDITH Do you mind?
RICHARD Nope.

INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - BATHROOM
Samantha stands in the bathroom as she turns on the tub water about to take a bath.
She reaches under the kitchen sink and pulls out a bottle of bubble bath and pours some into the tub.
INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha walks into her bedroom and over to her closet and opens the doors.
She pulls out her clothes that she's going to wear and sets them on the bed.
She then makes her way over to her computer desk and grabs her iPOD and heads back towards the bathroom.
INT. BATHROOM
She stands back in the bathroom and takes off her clothes and steps into the tub.
Samantha then plugs her ears with her iPOD and turns on her music and starts to relax.
CUT TO:
INT. RICHARD'S MERCEDES
Richard, his wife, and his little girl are driving down the street and they're almost home.
Christine sits in the back eating ice cream.
RICHARD I forgot to ask how your trip was with Jane to the doctor's.
MEREDITH (Smiling.) I think you can pretty much guess how that went.
RICHARD Not good, huh?
MEREDITH She's definitely a trip. She had the doctor's laughing.
CUT TO:
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - BRANDON'S BEDROOM
Brandon is still sitting down in front of the computer with the music blaring in his ears through his head phones.
He's bobbing a bit with the beat.
INT. BATHROOM
Samantha is still sitting back and relaxed when she hears something the bathroom door close.
She takes off her iPOD.
SAM Brandon, is that you?
No one answers her.
SAM Brandon?
The curtains fly open and she sees Ben, the cable guy, standing there.
She screams as loud as she can.
Ben reaches down and grabs her by the hair and tries to pull her out the tub.
SAM (Terrified.) No! Please!
Sam struggles with Ben and continues screaming and kicking.
Water splashed all over the place.
SAM Brandon, help me!
INT. BRANDON'S BEDROOM
Brandon is sitting in front of the computer typing away and listening to his head phones.
The music is too loud to hear Samantha's cried. INT. BATHROOM
Ben and Samantha are still struggling.
BEN Come here, you little bitch. Ben's got something for you.
SAM Please!
Samantha is yanked out the tub, but she grabs a hold of the shower curtain and pulls it off with her.
Her naked body is tangled up in the shower curtain as Ben starts pulling her out the bathroom.
SAM Let me go!
INT. HALLWAY
Ben drags Samantha by her hair down the hallway and makes his way into her bedroom.
INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha continues screaming and crying, but Brandon still doesn't hear her.
She looks around her room to see that there are two other guys in the room with them.
They're looking at her with grins.
SAM Stop! Please! What are you doing?! Let me go!
Ben throws Samantha onto the bed.
Samantha continues kicking and screaming as the two other men with Ben grab her feet and pull her.
They force her to lie down. SAM Oh, God! No!
Ben takes off his shirt.
CUT TO:
EXT. PARKER RESIDENCE
Richard's pulls up out front of the house and parks the car.
The doors open up and they step out.
CUT TO:
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha is lying on the bed with her with the two men holding her down tight.
She screams and kicks to get away.
Ben takes off his pants.
BEN I told you Ben's got something for you, bitch.
INT. LIVING ROOM
Richard, Meredith, and Christine step inside the house to be greeted by Samantha's screams.
RICHARD What the hell?!
Meredith looks to Christine.
MEREDITH Stay here, honey.
Richard and Meredith take off up the steps.
INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM Meredith and Richard swing open the bedroom door to see the men holding Samantha down and Ben on top of her.
RICHARD (Stunned.) Oh, my God!
MEREDITH Get away from my daughter, you sick motherfucker!
Meredith takes off running towards the men.
Ben looks at her and smiles as he pulls out a gun, takes aim, and fire a bullet right through her head.
Meredith falls back in her own puddle of blood.
The men get off Samantha and she crawls away and covers up with her blankets.
All three of the men pull out their gun and take aim at Samantha and Richard.
SAM Mom!
Richard makes his way over to his lifeless wife.
BEN You must be the man of the house. Am I right?
RICHARD Motherfucker!
Richard charges at Ben, but only to be knocked to the ground by all three men.
Brandon enters the room.
BRANDON What's going on?
The three main take aim at Brandon also. Brandon looks down to see his lifeless mother.
BRANDON Oh, God.
BEN Boo-fuckin'-hoo! Get your pussy ass in this goddamn room, boy!
Brandon makes his way over to Samantha and sits on the bed and hugs her.
SAM What do you want from us? Just leave us alone.
BEN I just want a few words with your dad here and we'll be good.
Ben grabs Richard by the hair and points the gun in face and pulls him up to his knees.
BEN Get up. Follow me.
Ben and Slim, the second intruder, make their way out of the bedroom with Richard.
Bobby, the third intruder, stays in the bedroom to keep his eye on Samantha and Brandon.
SAM Let us go. We didn't do anything to you, you asshole!
BOBBY Shut up, bitch.
Brandon gets pissed.
BRANDON You better watch who you're calling a bitch, motherfucker. Bobby aims the gun at Brandon.
BOBBY I'm the one with the gun. So you better watch who you're calling a motherfucker, got it?
They stand there in silence for a few seconds.
CHRISTINE (OS) Mommy?!
Bobby gets up and takes aim with his gun as he makes his way over to the door.
BOBBY Who's that?
SAM It's my little sister. Please don't let her come here.
Bobby looks to Samantha.
BOBBY Get over here.
SAM What do you want?
BOBBY Come tell her to go play with her fuckin' dolls or something before I let her come in here and see the mess we created with mommy dearest.
Samantha gets up and makes her way over to the bedroom door and peeks outside to see Christine.
SAM Hi, sweetie.
Samantha had the blanket wrapped around her. CHRISTINE Where's mommy?
SAM She went away for a bit. Will you do me a favor, honey?
CHRISTINE OK.
SAM I want you to go to your room and draw me a bunch of pretty pictures of flowers and horses, OK?
CHRISTINE Why?
SAM I want to show all my friends what a good drawer you are.

Samantha gets Meredith's body by the feet and Brandon gets a grip of her from the shoulder's.

They finish wrapping her body up in the blanket.

Ben and Slim are sitting down on the edge of Richard's bed while Richard lies on the floor.

Kate is driving down the long drive through and slowly, but surely making her way to the house. She's talking on her cell phone.

Kate hangs up the phone as she slowly comes to a stop in front of the house.
She turns off her car and steps out.
All of the lights in the house were off except for the two bedrooms Samantha, her father, and her brother were in.

Kate makes her way back down to her car and opens up the driver's door.
She leans inside and starts beeping the horn.
CUT TO: INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha, Brandon, and Bobby can hear the horn being blown from outside.
BOBBY Shit. Who's that?
Samantha stands up and makes her way over to the window.
INT. RICHARD'S BEDROOM
Ben, Slim, and Richard hear the horn beep as well.

Slim opens up the bedroom door and steps inside.

Kate starts walking towards the front door when she sees it opening up.
Samantha can be seen watching from the window.
Slim walks out the front door.

SLIM Yes.

Slim keeps on walking closer to her, but Kate backs up.

Kate turns around to run, but Slim grabs her by the hair and throws her down to the ground.

He stands her up and slams her down on the hood of her car and takes aim with his gun.

INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha drops to the floor and starts sobbing.

Christine is sitting down on the floor drawing a picture of a horse and some flowers.

Richard is now tied up to a chair in the middle of the bedroom with a gag around his mouth.
He tries mumbling something.
Ben gets up off the bed and makes his way over to him and loosens up the gag.
BEN What is it?

Richard starts struggling with the ropes to get loose.

Slim takes a nail and rests it on top of Richard's foot and with one quick bang he nails his foot to the wooden floor.
Richard's cries are muffled by the gag.
Slim moves over to the next leg and sticks another nail on his foot and bangs it inside.
Ben looks Richard in the face and laughs.
Slim then grabs Richard's hand and bangs a nail through the top of his hand and through the arm of the chair.

SLIM (To Ben.) Do you want to do the honors on the last one?
BEN Hand me that.
Slim hands Ben the hammer and nails. Ben rests the last nail on the top of Richard's hand and with all his might he bangs the nail into his hand.
Richard screams can barely keep his head up as he screams and cries in pain.

He holds the gun in front of Richard's face and then with one hard punch he knocks him out.
INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha and Brandon are standing up by the closet and Bobby's sitting on the bed.
SAM I want to see my sister. I want to check on her.
BOBBY Sorry. Not happening.
SAM I want to see her.
Samantha and Bobby stare at one another.

Bobby looks at her and smiles.

Ben and Slim are standing there looking at Richard with smiles on their face.

Ben opens up Richard's mouth.

He then reaches down to grab the finger and shoves it into Richard's mouth.
Richard starts gagging, but manages to get the finger out as it falls to his lap. INT. SAMANTHA'S BEDROOM
Samantha is sitting on the bed and Brandon is sitting down on the floor.
Bobby is sitting back at the computer.
Samantha looks to Brandon and quickly tosses him a sharp nail file onto the floor.
Brandon grabs it and sticks it in his pocket.
Samantha turns her attention to Bobby.

Bobby continues playing the computer game.

SAM This is a big bed. I have thought about doing some things in it.

BRANDON (Whispering.) Watch this.
Brandon doesn't hesitate to take the nail file and quickly stab Bobby right in the eye.
Bobby drops to the floor. Samantha and Bobby look at one another.
SAM Now what?
BRANDON I'm going to find dad. I want you to get Christine and get the fuck out of this house and get help.
SAM I don't want to leave you. There's two more of them and you might need my help, Brandon.
BRANDON Samantha, please. I don't want anything to happen to you or Christine.
SAM I'm getting help and getting Christine out of here, but I'm coming straight back here for you, OK?
BRANDON OK. Just go.
Samantha slowly opens the door and peeks out into the hallway to make sure nobody's there.
She then looks back to Brandon.

A door can be heard opening up.

Slim walks into the bathroom, pulls down his pants, and sits on the toilet.
Samantha is standing in the tub praying to God that he doesn't hear her.

Brandon makes his way out of the closet and runs into the bedroom Slim came out of.
INT. RICHARD'S BEDROOM
Brandon steps into the bedroom to see Ben standing over his father who was pretty much dead, but still alive.
BEN What the hell?! How the fuck did you get out of your room?!
BRANDON Bobby, let me out. I promised I wouldn't do anything if he just let me see my dad for a second.
BEN Well, here he is. Why don't you come have a look?
Brandon takes a step forward and walks around to see that Richard had been nailed to the floor and chair. He looked closely enough to see that he was missing a finger and a couple teeth.

Ben walks around and stands behind Richard.
BEN Your dad did something really fucked up, Brandon. Do you know what happens when people fuck up with me?

BEN They die.

Slim makes his way out of the bathroom and down the hall.

Slim walks into the bedroom to see Ben and Brandon.

Christine and her doll are sitting down at a table and they are having a pretend tea party.

Christine walks to the door and opens it.

INT. CHRISTINE'S BEDROOM
Samantha peeks out the bedroom door to see Slim making his way down the hall and into Samantha's bedroom.

Christine crawls into the closet and Samantha shuts the door and makes her way back to the window.

Samantha can be seen stepping out the window and climbing down the side of the house.

Slim steps into the bedroom and peers around the room with his eyes and starts walking about.
He checks under the bed to see if he could see anyone, but he doesn't. He turns around and looks at the closet.
Slim makes his way over to it and puts his hand on the knob and is about to open it when a breeze of cold air brushes his face.
He turns around to see the window was open.

Slim runs out of the bedroom.
EXT. PARKER RESIDENCE - NIGHT
Samantha drops to the ground below her and crawls over to the bushes along the side of the house.
She reaches under and pulls out her father's ladder.

Samantha climbs back through the window and makes her way over to the closet.
SAM Christine, it's me.
Christine opens the door and comes out.

The two of them make their way back over to the window.

EXT. PARKER HOUSE - NIGHT
Samantha and Christine are standing outside their house now that they're down from the window.
CHRISTINE Where are we going?
SAM I need you to do me another favor, Christine.
CHRISTINE What?
SAM I need you to run as far away from the house and possible. Do you remember where Mrs. Stoker, our neighbor?
CHRISTINE Yes.
SAM Run to her house and have her call the cops and send them here immediately. Tell her that we're in trouble, OK?
CHRISTINE OK.
SAM Go now, sweetie.
Christine runs off.
Samantha makes her way back over to the ladder and starts climbing back up it.
She's almost at the top when she looks up to see Slim looking at her from the window. SAM Shit.
Samantha starts climbing back down.
Slim smiles and starts shaking the ladder almost causing her to fall off.

Samantha quickly tries to make her way to the bottom, but Slim pushes the ladder away from the window sending her flying all the way down to the bottom.
She was stunned, but she slowly gets back up.
Slim runs away from the window.
INT. PARKER RESIDENCE - RICHARD'S BEDROOM
Ben is standing over Brandon who is lying on the floor still from the shot in the chest.
BEN Quit fuckin' with me!
Ben punches Brandon in the face.
He then takes the gun and aims at his temple.
BEN I'm going to ask you one more time. Where the hell is she?
BRANDON Fuck you.
Ben pulls the trigger and sinks a bullet into Brandon's temple, splattering blood everywhere.
EXT. PARKER RESIDENCE - NIGHT
Samantha makes her way over to Kate's car and hops inside. She sees that the keys are in the ignition and tries starting the car up, but it doesn't work.
She looks up to see Slim making his way out the house.

Samantha looks in the back to see a baseball bat.
Slim makes it to the car before she can reach back and grab it to protect herself
He breaks open the glass window with one punch and grabs Samantha by the shirt and starts pulling her.
Samantha struggles to stay inside the car.
SAM Get off me!
Samantha reaches for the handle to the door and manages to kick it open and knock Slim to the ground.
She reaches in the back and grabs the bat.
The second she steps out the car she makes her to Slim and stands over him with the bat raised.

She brings the bat down on his face.
She hysterically continues bring the bat down and bashing him in the face.
His face is covered in blood.
Her whaling comes to a stop when we hear a crack.

Christine runs up to the Stoker house and starts banging on the door as hard and fast as she can.

Samantha gets up and starts walking away from Slim's body to the front of her house.
She makes her way up the porch and opens up the front door.

Samantha makes her way into the kitchen and over to the sink where she grabs a big knife.
INT. HALLWAY Samantha is making her way up the steps in search of her brother and father.
SAM (Quietly.) Brandon?
She makes her way to her parents' bedroom and slowly opens up the door and peeks inside.
INT. RICHARD'S BEDROOM
Samantha runs inside to see father nailed to the chair.
SAM Oh, my God.
She runs over to him to make sure he's dead.
She looks at her father's lifeless body to see all the bad and horrible things they did.
It causes her to break into tears.

Ben kicks open the bedroom door and stands there with a large axe in his hand.

Samantha quickly gets up and runs over to the window, but Ben gets to her too fast.

He brings the axe down, but Samantha quickly moves out the way causing him to miss and sink the axe in the floor.

Samantha starts to get up, but grabs her foot and makes her fall back to the ground.
She loses grip and drops the knife.

She makes her way into the hallway and runs into her bedroom and shuts the door

She stands looking around the room in search of a place to hide from Ben.
She locks eyes on the closet where her mother and Kate had been tucked away.
Quickly, Samantha makes her way over to the closet and crawls inside.
INT. CLOSET
Samantha peeks out the closet to see that Ben hasn't come in after her yet.
She looks at her mother and Kate and starts to cry, but does it silently.
A noise of some sort can be heard inside the closet. She turns her head around to see Brandon's body fall down and onto the floor.
SAM Oh, God.
She looks at him and tears start streaming down from her light blue eyes.

She peeks out the closet door to see Ben bust through the bedroom door.
He starts searching the room for her.
Samantha backs up in the corner.

She's sitting for a few seconds in a moment of silence.
It's broken when Ben tries opening up the closet door, but she had locked it.
He knows she's inside.
Without anymore thought he starts breaking down the closet door.
The door falls apart.

That's when she makes her move and stabs him in the shoulder causing him to drop the axe and fall back.

Samantha comes out of the closet and bends down to her knees to stab Ben once more. She's about to bring the knife down, but Ben grabs her hand and rips the knife loose from her.
Samantha manages to get loose and runs to the window.
She tries to open it, but it's jammed.
She turns around to see Ben charging at her with the knife held high in the air.
Samantha steps out the way, grabbing Ben by the side, and throwing him towards the window.
Ben goes crashing through, but manages to get a grip on the edge and holds on tight.
Samantha bends down and grabs the axe.
Ben looks up to see Samantha stands there with the axe in her hand.
SAM Drop dead.
Samantha swings the axe as hard as she can and sinks it into the top of Ben's head.
She lets go of the axe and looks out the window and watches Ben fall all the way down.
He lands on top of Kate's car and the alarm starts going off.
Samantha turns around to see Bobby standing behind her with his eye gauged out.
He wasn't dead.
BOBBY You fuckin' whore!
He grabs her by the throat and starts choking her.
Samantha falls to the ground. Bobby has a tight grip around her neck and isn't about to let go anytime soon.
Samantha looks over to see her knife lying close.
She reaches out to grab it.
Bobby continues choking her as she struggles to reach for the kitchen knife.
BOBBY I'll kill you.
Samantha can't reach the knife.
She reaches around Bobby's neck and grabs a hold of the nail file and twists it.
Bobby leans back and shouts in pain.
Samantha quickly grabs the knife and stabs Bobby straight up from under his chin.
He's definitely dead this time.
Samantha lies on the floor catching her breath when the sound of sirens can be heard from outside.
FADE TO BLACK
FADE IN:
INT. MERRITSVILLE COUNTY HOSPITAL - DAY
Samantha is lying down in the hospital bed that sits by the window in the corner of the room.
Flowers, roses, balloons, cards, and pictures drawn by Christine are scattered around the room.
The sun beams in through the window causing Samantha to open her eyes and wake up.
She looks around the room to see that she's in the hospital. The door opens up and a nurse makes her way inside with more balloons in her hands.
NURSE Good morning, Ms. Parker. Did you sleep well?
Samantha's a little out of it.
NURSE What's wrong?
SAM How long have I been here?
NURSE You were brought here last night. Don't you remember anything?
SAM How could I forget?
The nurse walks over to the door about to leave, but stops and turns around to Samantha.
NURSE You have a visitor. Do you want me to send them in?
SAM Sure.
The nurse walks out of the room.
Samantha sits there on the bed for a few seconds when Christine comes running into the room.
Samantha starts crying.
SAM Hey, baby!
The two of them hug onto each other tight.
CHRISTINE Did you miss me? SAM I missed you so much. You have no idea how much I missed you.
CHRISTINE I did what you said, Samantha. I ran all the way and got help.
Samantha wipes her eyes.
SAM You did good, sweetie. I'm very proud of you, baby.
CHRISTINE Mrs. Stoker said we could stay with her until Uncle Peter comes for us.
SAM OK. Is she here now?
CHRISTINE Yes.
CUT TO:
INT. STOKER RESIDENCE - BATHROOM - NIGHT
Mrs. Stoker stands in the bathroom with Samantha and she hands her a towel.
Samantha's about to take a bath.
MRS. STOKER OK. Just shout my name if you need anything, OK?
SAM OK. Thanks.
Mrs. Stoker walks out of the bathroom.
Samantha starts taking off her clothes when she has a flashback.
FLASHBACK - PARKER RESIDENCE - BATHROOM - EVENING
Ben reaches down and grabs her by the hair and tries to pull her out the tub.
SAM (Terrified.) No! Please!
Sam struggles with Ben and continues screaming and kicking.
Water splashed all over the place.
BACK TO PRESENT DAY
Samantha tries to block out the horrible image and steps into the bubble bath.
She lies in the tub with her eyes closed for a few seconds, but opens them up when she hears something.
It was the bathroom door opening and closing.
SAM Mrs. Stokes?
Samantha opens the curtain up to see Ben standing there with the axe in his hand.
Samantha screams.
CUT TO:
INT. MERRITSVILLE PSYCHIATRIC WARD
Samantha wakes up in her bed screaming and whaling around, but she's been strapped down.
Doctors rush into the room and start doping her up and sticking needles in her.
Samantha continues screaming, but they soon die out and turn to a hysterical laugh. FADE TO BLACK
