About the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival

The Hervey Bay Seafood Festival is a premier event of the Fraser Coast. The festival is unique in that it is organized by the commercial fishers who catch the local wild catch seafood on offer at the festival food court and at the exclusive Tastes of the Bay seafood long lunch. The programme highlighSthe talents of the region, foods, wine and knowledge of the aquatic community.

The festival is on Sunday 10th August 2014 at Fishermen’s Park, Urangan Boat Harbour.

If you agree to accept the conditions, complete the required information and return with ALL the requested documentation by post to PO Box 7307 Urangan 4655 by 31st March 2014

SELECTION PROCESS 1. FOOD AND BEVERAGE. Food stands that focus on healthy menu items that are focused on local seafood (no imported seafood products permitted, vegetarian options, desserts and beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic .

Note there will be a restriction on the number of deep fried foods in 2014.

2. Market stalls are selected around gourmet foods, marine and environmental interests, good health and beachside lifestyle.

Notification of successful /unsuccessful application

 Successful applicants will be emailed of their acceptance status by 30th April.

Payment details  Invoices emailed by 30th April 2014  Full payment made no later than 30 May 2014  Electronic payments must have ID of stall and invoice number for reference.  Stallholder kits distributed 15th July 2014

Photos of stalls and products  A copy of current public liability insurance cover (min 10 million)  Completed Electrical Form- Stallholders Agreement with details of power needs.  Copy of food safety qualifications or relevant food safety plan  Gas installation layout  FOR FOOD VENDORS – Successful applicants will need to lodge your own food permits directly with the Fraser Coast Regional Council
