Announcements Monday, April 18, 2016 Fourth Quarter Begins Bell 1

GUIDANCE OFFICE Juniors - Remember to bring your Guidance Contract that you received at your interview to the Guidance Office as soon as possible.

Schools and dates of Open House for Juniors Lasell College in Massachusetts is on Saturday, April 16 Springfield College in Massachusetts will be held on the following dates: April 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, and 29th. Information is available in the Guidance Office.

Summer positions are available at the Philadelphia Marina Center for students 18 years old or soon to turn 18. Information is available in the Guidance Office.

Chick-fil-A restaurants have opportunities for employment. Call or visit one of their restaurants.

JUNIOR PROM A reminder to all Juniors that the Junior Prom will be held on Friday, April 29th at the Philadelphia Ballroom. Information regarding the Junior Prom was emailed to all Junior parents whose emails are on file as well as to all Juniors. Permission forms are presently available in the Student Affairs Office. Tickets are available for purchase in the Financial Affairs Office. Permission forms must be approved by the Student Affairs Office prior to tickets being purchased.

You may begin signing up for prom tables tomorrow. You must see Mrs. Smith in person with your ticket to do this. You may not sign up until you have purchased a ticket, and you may not sign your friends up for a table!

MOTHERS’ CLUB Roman Wire Bangles Now Available! Bangles may be purchased online at: https://squareup.com/store/roman-catholic-mothers-club , or in person at the Bake Sale on Tuesday, April 19th.

BROAD STREET RUN Attention All Students- The Broad Street Run will take place on Sunday, May 1st. Volunteer opportunities are available. RCHS Community Service Hours will be given. Please sign up in the Student Affairs Office by April 27, 2016.

SENIOR PROM COMMITTEE There will be a Senior prom committee meeting today after school in Room 41. ATHLETICS

TENNIS Roman hosts Carroll today to determine 3rd place in the PCL. On Friday, St. Joe's Prep swept Roman 0-5 securing 2nd place behind LaSalle. Good luck to Roman Tennis today as they try to defeat Carroll and secure a 3rd place finish and a good seed in the playoffs.

CREW 5th Manny Flick results are: Freshman Novice 2x A 4th place finish of Sean Lay and John Cepis. Novice 4x B 2nd place finish of Matthew Hirst, Thomas Filip, Jayden Everett and David Brotschal. Freshman 4x A 2nd place finish of Aaron Kostyk, Omar Muwwakkil, John Cepis and Ethan Hack. JV 1x 9th place finish of Tucker Goschinski. JV 4x A 2nd place of Dylan Rostucher, Louis Iacovelli, John Meehan and Joseph Banford. Lightweight 2x B 2nd place of Evan Meadows and Dylan Knorr. Lightweight 4x A 3rd place of Liam O'Connell, Cy Saunders, Joseph Brauckmann and Brendan Neal. Varsity 1x A 2nd place of Benjamin Guckin. Varsity 1x B 4th place of Johnanthony Fiorilli and 5th place of Andre Harville. Varsity 2x A 2nd place of Andrew Johnston and Edward Dunbar. Varsity 2x B 3rd place of William Robb and Andrew Mulson. Varsity 4x A 1st place of Anthony Pachella, Tilghman Moyer, Kristjan Perry and Justin Frye. The City Championship is Sunday, May 1st.

LACROSSE Friday, Varsity defeated Bonner Prendie 11-2. Goals were by Joe Dougherty (2), Donald Bookman (3), Jake Doyle (3), Anthony Torrelli (2) and Ty Moderski. Michael Burke had 3 assists. JV lost 6-3. Goals were by Clarke Styles and Colin Hand (2). The next games are Wednesday, April 20th, at Devon Prep.

VOLLEYBALL Varsity defeated Archbishop Ryan 3-2 and JV fell 2-0. Today they are traveling to Archbishop Wood. They no longer will need an early dismissal. JV will begin at 5:45pm and Varsity at 7:00pm.

BASEBALL Saturday, Varsity was defeated by Sterling 4-1 but won against Florence 11-1. JV's game against Archbishop Ryan was cancelled. Freshman played a close game against Archbishop Ryan, but lost 10-9. Today Varsity and JV are dismissed at1:45pm and Freshman at 2:00pm for their games against Cardinal O'Hara.

OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD The team will be dismissed at 1:30 PM for their meet at Lasalle High School.

TECHONOLGY CLUB The Technology Club will meet in the library today after school. All are welcome. 8th Period Basketball 8th Period Basketball will take place Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

ARAMARK Now through the 22nd, savor the flavor of Spring with a couple of tasty new Chicken Sandwiches! First up: the Bacon-Ranch Chicken Sandwich with fresh-made Bacon Ranch dressing, . Not to mention, the savory Chili Chicken Sandwich topped with a sweet and savory Teriyaki sauce. Just the thing to keep you going through the second half of your day. Fuel up with lunch!
