In this unit we learn about teamwork an why working together is better. Here is what you will do:

Think and write about:

 Think about different types of teamwork such as:

 Athletes, construction workers, volunteers, etc.

 Why is it necessary for people to work together, especially on big jobs?

How do I share what I learned?:

1. Write two paragraphs, about 3-4 sentences each telling me about teamwork.

2. Use notes, charts, pictures, maps and/or diagrams on poster board if you like.

3. Present to the class on February 17th at 2:00

4. Parents, friends, relatives and school administration are welcome to attend. More information will follow!

Research Citations (How to list your resources)

For a book:

Write the author’s names with his/her last name first, the title and then the copyright date.

For an encyclopedia:

Write the title, the number of the volume and the date of the volume.

From internet sources:

Write the title of the website and the date you visited it.

From newspapers:

Write the name of the paper and date.
