Executive MBA Recruiter
Purpose
Purpose: To recruit students for the Executive MBA (EMBA) program currently offered by the College of Business at the UTA/Fort Worth Center. In addition, function as an assistant to the EMBA Director in the facilitation of the program. This position focuses on our domestic EMBA program. Essential Functions
Function 1: Market and promote the EMBA program off campus to businesses and other organizations in connection with recruitment of students. 60 % Time Function 2: Provide support and input to EMBA director and assume such responsibilities as are delegated to assist with the planning and execution of logistical and scheduling arrangements for EMBA course offerings and class sessions and planning and executing travel and other logistical arrangements in connection with EMBA student international trip for study abroad. 5 % Time Function 3: Perform other tasks associated with ensuring that a class of sufficient size is available to start the program each year in August. 10 % Time Function 4: Assist with the preparation of EMBA advertising and promotional materials. 15 % Time Function 5: Assist with the facilitation of application and admission process for sponsored and non-sponsored prospective students. 5 % Time Function 6: Make recommendations to the EMBA admissions committee regarding suitable candidates. 5 % Time Function 7: % Time Function 8: % Time Marginal/Incidental Functions
Marginal/Incidental Functions: Other functions as assigned. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, MBA or a specialized Master's degree in a business discipline highly preferred. Five to eight years professional business and industry background in a related field. Strong interpersonal skills for effectively relating to potential candidates and corporate entities that may provide leads to candidates. Strong interest in, and commitment to, graduate business education.
