2. DIRECTED AND GUIDED RETREATS AT CURRAJEEN
Directed retreats are individual prayer experiences with a daily meeting with a director who acts as prayer companion for the journey.
Guided retreats have an input session, guided prayer and sharing each morning, and the remainder is quiet time for personal reflection and prayer. These retreats may be non- residential. For those who would like to take part in any of the guided retreats listed on the following pages, you will need to commit to about one hour a day for the six consecutive days. Costs for non-residential retreats are negotiated on application.
All retreats are times of silence except for the meetings with the guide or director.
Private or directed retreats may be arranged at other times in consultation with a director, depending on the availability of accommodation.
All live-in retreats commence on the evening of the first date given and finish after breakfast on the last date. It is suggested that retreatants arrive at Currajeen before 6.00p.m. in time for the evening meal.
