Practical Exercise # 1 STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS

OBJECTIVE: This practical exercise (PE) measures your understanding and ability to process individual awards through the eMILPO training database.

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

1. Access to the eMILPO training database https://emilpotrngtest.ahrs.army.mil 2. PE Booklet 3. Printer

INSTRUCTIONS: a. This PE booklet contains a scenario with applicable information for you to submit individual awards and print the Soldiers enlisted record brief (ERB). Check to ensure that you have the complete scenario for this PE. You will receive a GO/NO-GO for this PE. If any portion of the PE is illegible, inform the instructor in order to obtain a new PE booklet.

NOTE: You should be logged into the eMILPO AHRS Web-Portal at https://emilpotrngtest.ahrs.army.mil to complete this PE. If needed, ask your instructor for any required information to log in. b. Each requirement will test your knowledge, understanding, and ability to accurately submit Individual award transactions within eMILPO. You are required to complete and submit the transactions on the Soldier identified in the scenario and print the ERB. Ensure that you read the instructions and scenario carefully to ensure that you enter the required information and complete the required transactions. All information must be entered correctly to receive a GO on this PE. Missing or incorrect information submitted will result in a NO GO. c. ALL WORK ON THE PE MUST BE YOUR OWN. DO NOT communicate with other students, give or receive assistance, make record of your answers anywhere except the answer sheet, or pass on information about this PE to other students. Failure to follow these instructions may result in disciplinary action in accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice. d. When completed, turn in your PE booklet; printed ERB; and any scratch paper or other issued materials to the instructor. You will receive further instructions at that time. e. Questions concerning the administration of the PE may be directed to the instructor; however, questions concerning the content of the PE will not be answered.

SCENARIO: You work within the S-1 section of the 1st Brigade Combat Team (BCT), 4th Infantry Division. SGT GARCIA ZAEGERS IVONNE MARIE is preparing for a Promotion Board appearance. SGT GARCIA noticed that awards were missing from her Enlisted Record Brief (ERB). Your unit is conducting an Army Physical Fitness Test and you were left behind to handle administrative emergencies. Log into eMILPO and make corrections to the Soldier’s Individual Awards. Changes in the Individual Award category will be reflected in SECTION VIII of the Soldier’s ERB.

NOTE: Remember the SSNs within the Training Database are structured according to the following formula: xCL-xx-xxSN where SN is the student number and CL is the class number.

SITUATION: SGT GARCIA ZAEGERS IVONNE MARIE, 9CL-43-60SN, W0CLSN documents have been verified for the following awards:

1. SGT GARCIA was awarded an Army Achievement Medal for exceeding the standards during the unit command inspection.
