Old business: The banquet fundraiser had already gotten off to a good start. Half of the tickets were sold prior to the meeting and the remaining were sold throughout the day.

New business: Winona fundraising was discussed. The youth plan to set jumps and trail obstacles at both the February and March shows. MYQHA will also be offering an english training class Thursday and a western training class Friday at both of these shows.

Planning for the clinic fundraiser continued with the confirmed location being Goodwin Stables. After speaking with clinician Bonnie Minor, a tentative date of May 1, 2010 was set. Megan Eckstein agreed to look into advertising with WSCA as well as MQHA.

Ideas for 2010 fundraising were discussed. It was decided to repeat the “crockpot potluck” fundraiser at the State Show in April. MYQHA can potentially earn $50 for each full page ad and $25 for each half page ad.

MYQHA hopes to continue in its PR and Membership ventures in the coming year. It was discussed to have representatives from MYQHA present at a few WSCA shows or All-Novice shows.

Danielle Paulson made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:45, Josh Otten seconded, motion carried.

Respectfully Submitted, Sarah Lindblom
