In the darkness of our sin you have shone in our hearts May Christ, to give the light of the knowledge who bore our sins in his body on the tree, of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. heal you by his wounds. Open our eyes to acknowledge your presence, that freed from the misery of sin and shame May the Holy Spirit, we may grow into your likeness who leads us into all truth, from glory to glory. speak to you words of pardon and peace. Prayers of Penitence The sacrifice of God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart God will not despise. Let us come to the Lord, who is full of compassion, and acknowledge our transgressions in penitence and faith.

May God who loved the world so much For the dying, for those who mourn, that he sent his Son to be our Saviour for the faithful forgive us our sins whom we entrust to the Lord in hope, and make us holy to serve him in the world, as we look forward to the day through Jesus Christ our Lord. Give us the humility to learn, For the children of Rwentobo School, the generosity to give, for the dormitory build and the desire to grow in love for you, which will help their safety and education, for we ask this in the name of your Son, for a new generation to lead the country of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
