Organizer: Fudzi Sport Club & Latvian Karate Federation Place: Latvia, Salaspils, Smilsu street 1, Salaspils Sport Hall. Date: 28-29.11.2015 Beginning at 10.00 Registration on the day of competition at 8.30-9.45 in Salaspils, Smilsu street 1, Salaspils Sport Hall. Competition rules: KATA

KUMITE – overweight allowance 0.5 kg U8, U10, U12, U14 categories Duration: 1.5 minutes or up to 6 points difference Equipment: full; body protectors and face masks are optional

U16, U18, senior, veteran categories WKF rules Equipment: full; body protectors and face masks are optional

SUMO Round-robin system (till 2 victories). Size of tatami – 3x3 m.

FANTOM Round-robin system, 3 judges, skin touch is allowed. Duration: 20 seconds Evaluation criteria: accuracy, speed and strength, diversity of punches, kicks and combinations, sense of distance. Equipment: Red belt and mitts for AKA, blue belt and mitts for AO are mandatory, leg protectors of the same color are allowed.

Protest consideration – 100 EUR.

All sportsmen are responsible for their health insurance and medical allowance to participate in the tournament. Referees All qualified Judges and Referees are welcome. Please provide names in advance. Deadline for referee registration is Wednesday, November 25 2015 at latest. The fee we will pay you for your services at our tournament is:  WKF and EKF 100 eur per day plus hotel;  National Referees - 50 eur per day. A dinner for Referees will be hosted.

Team: Kata: U10, U12, U14 (mixed teams allowed) Kumite boys: U10,U12,U14 (Team consists of 3+1 sportsmen) Kumite girls: U14 (Team consists of 1 sportsman U9, 1 sportsman U12, 1 sportsman U14) Competence: All questions that are not included in this restriction are answered according to organazing and referee’s commitees. Awards: Two 3rd places in all categories! 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are awarded with medals and diplomas.

Female +16 years KATA and male seniors KATA 1st place winners are awarded with 50 EUR money prize.

Female +16 OPEN 1st place winner is awarded with 100 EUR money prize Male seniors +18 OPEN 1st place winner is awarded with 300 EUR money prize. Other individual male senior kumite categories 1st place winners are awarded with 100 EUR money prize.

Best 3 teams in each Team kata category are awarded with medals, cups and diplomas. Best 3 teams in each Team kumite category are awarded with medals, cups and diplomas.

At the end of each day three best clubs according to overall standings (each 1st place – 5 points, 2nd place – 3 points, 3rd place – 1 point) will be awarded with cups and diplomas – SUMO and FANTOM disciplines are not included in overall standings!

The best club of two competition days will be awarded with a CUP - SUMO and FANTOM disciplines are not included!

Three best clubs in SUMO and FANTOM are awarded with cups and diplomas.
