Jesus is born in Bethlehem An EasyEnglish Story Unit (AEE) from Luke’s Good News www.easyenglish.info Joyce Ferrie

The Emperor ordered that all the people in the Kingdom should be counted. Everyone was told to go to the town where they were born. Joseph went with Mary all the way from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Joseph’s family came from Bethlehem. He was of the family of the great King David. David had come from Bethlehem many, many years ago.

Mary was going to have a baby. Whilst they were in Bethlehem, Mary’s baby boy was born. She wrapped him in cloths. She laid him down in a manger. There was no room for them to stay in the Inn.

Luke 2:1-7 No. 6.
