MHS 2009 Cheerleading Camp Packing List

Daily Camp Reminders:  Do NOT be late! Arrive at least 5 minutes before start time each morning. Check schedule for daily start/end times  Wear squad’s designated outfit each day, ribbon and performance shoes every day  No Jewelry or spacers/plugs!!! Leave it at home! Cover tattoos with bandages  Put your name on EVERYTHING.  Do not bring any personal valuables to camp!  You will NOT be permitted to use or have cell phones on during camp (not even during meals!).  You should bring one small bag each day (backpack or slingpack is perfect)  Each girl will only be allowed ONE luggage bag in Orlando! A small carry-on is allowed on the bus (backpack or slingpack)  Keep fingernails short, no artificial nails, no nail polish at all!  Bring copy of report card to camp

What to bring to camp each day  Sling pack or backpack for day items needed in gym or as a carry-on for bus  Water bottle  Sweat Towel  Raincoat  Wear Cheer Ribbon  Extra Ponytail holders  Feminine Hygiene Products  Camera/film/batteries  Medications/First Aid needed (Rx, pain relief, cold medicine, icy hot, band-aids)  All medication will be held by coaches - bring a signed note from parent including dosage  Big Sister gifts/ cards  Ankle, foot, knee, wrist braces  sweatshirt or jacket in case A/C is too cold (especially Tuesday at movies) What to Bring on Wednesday/Thursday  WEAR any outfit (must be cheer, jump and stunt friendly)  Bring Crazy Outfit for your Sister  Clothes for Japanese Hibachi Dinner (What NOT to Wear: beach flip flops, shorts, micro-miniskirts, ripped clothing)  Dry clothes to change into for ride home from Aquatica  Personal hygiene items (Deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrush/paste, lotion, contact solution, razors, shave cream, pads/tampons, hair products, makeup)  Water bottles or water jug  Sunscreen  Sunglasses/hat or visor  Bathing suit, flip-flops, towel and coverup  Underwear  Pajamas  Optional spending money for vending machines or Blizzard Beach snacks  $ for locker at Blizzard Beach (optional – share with friends)  Snacks for room (optional)  iPOD or CD player for bus ride  alarm clock (most cell phones have one)  Cell phone charger  Camera/film/batteries  Prescription medication (give to coach with note from parent)
