*JOB DESCRIPTION Aetna is looking for an innovative/proactive IT Audit Project Manager that will be a key member of the IT Internal Audit team and will direct the execution of internal audits. As an Audit IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in the planning and execution of concurrent and/or complex independent application, IT processes and/or infrastructure audits/projects to evaluate internal control processes in a variety of business areas throughout Aetna. You will work with minimal supervision, performing detailed scoping, testing, analysis and validation of audit information as well as creating clear, accurate work flows of business processes, testing results, exceptions and workpaper documentation. You will also meet with various levels of business management that will challenge your communication skills (leading meetings and verbal and written communication to leadership).

Aetna’s Internal Audit Department serves Aetna’s Audit Committee and assists management in achieving Aetna’s goals by conducting independent and objective assurance and consulting activities. The Internal Audit Department also oversees management’s efforts to comply with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2012 and Section 16 of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Model Audit Rule.

This job will require travel to audit locations within the U.S. roughly 10 - 25% of the year. Two positions available so prefer 1 in Hartford, CT and 1 in Phoenix, AZ.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Effectively manages IT Audit project teams and performs/leads and documents project activities in accordance with professional standards (e.g., IIA, ISACA, GAAS, GAAP, SEC, etc.) and department methodology - Effectively plans, organizes, directs and facilitates multiple, concurrent projects of moderate to high complexity - Performs preliminary project review and sign-offs, assist in managing the project scope and provides project feedback to IAD project team - Works with business area management and department staff/management to facilitate open communication, issue resolution and delivery of quality Audit services - Manages IT Audit project resource needs, identifies and communicates resource/administrative gaps, and works with department management to secure necessary resources to meet project objectives - Manages time and expense budgets as well as project risks / barriers - Contributes to overall Internal Audit Department team norms to promote a positive environment and improve team effectiveness - Maintains a current development plan reflecting a commitment to self-development as evidenced by positive performance reviews

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: We are looking for talented individuals to help us carry out our mission to develop and execute a risk-based audit plan using an approach that requires communication and collaboration with our customers. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of major information technology applications and/or infrastructure components. Proficiency in mainframe systems, databases (i.e., DB2), tools/languages (i.e., TSO, JCL, COBOL) Windows, Servers, Unix, and SQL is a plus. We also seek the following:

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Skills or Experience Desired: - 5+ years in IT audit (preferably within Health Insurance or related fields), including experience leading multiple full-cycle IT audits. - Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology preferred - Professional designations (i.e., CPA, CIA, CISA)/advanced degrees or measured progress in achieving, desirable - Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical ability - Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills - Self-motivated and a desire to learn and grow your career - Ability to travel overnight domestically up to 10 - 25% on average required
