CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is a study of the fundamentals of human resource management, which includes human resource planning, laws and regulations, recruiting and selection, analyzing work and job design, training and development, measuring employee performance, employee relations, compensation and benefits and an overview of unionism. Current issues affecting the human resource management environment will also be discussed.
