This event takes place in the context of new policy and initiatives around young people’s participation, inclusion and education. The purpose of the day is to inform gallery and museum educators about new strategies relating to arts and young people, and opportunities and issues this may present for your work.

The event will enable you to:  get an overview of current policy and initiatives  explore and debate their impact on the gallery and museum sector  meet some of the key people involved in both youth- and arts - focused strategies  find where to go for relevant agencies, good practice, and resources  write a personal plan of action
