Frequently called upon to manage multiple stores simultaneously. Selected for ‘Store Manager of the Year’ last year for my division. Reason for leaving - will discuss at interview.

Self Employed: March 2006 – October 2007

Developed my own business purchasing, remodeling homes and reselling. (Fix & Flips). Closed business due to major housing market crash.

Roberts Oil Company: January 2005 - March 2006

Convenience Store Manager. Responsible to the owner for overall operation of a C-Store. Reason for leaving – started my own business after receiving small inheritance.

Rio Grande Oil Company: November 1998 – December 2004

Convenience Store Manager. Responsible to the owner for overall operations of a C-Store frequently managing two stores at a time. Reason for leaving – Owner decided to discontinue retail operations and lease his stores eliminating my position.

Diamond Shamrock: January 1998 – November 1998

Convenience Store Assistant Manager: Employed as a customer service representative, promoted to assistant manager after 4 months on the job. Reason for leaving – Offered a better position as C-Store manager by owner of Rio Grande Oil Company.

U.S. West Phone Company: February 1997 – January 1998

Sales Representative. Worked in major call center as sales representative and taking calls to resolve customer problems or complaints. Reason for leaving – dissatisfied with call center style of life.

Kelly Cable of NM: August 1992 – January 1997

Cable TV, Telephone & Security System installation contractor. Employed as basic installer and promoted to installation supervisor in July of 1995 overseeing an installation crew of 30 personnel.

United States NAVY: January 1970 – September 1991.

Achieved rank of E7 – Radioman Chief Petty Officer – Communications. Served primarily on different ships or stations abroad. Received numerous awards, medals and commendations. Served in Vietnam War and Desert Storm in addition to several other military operations. Reason for leaving – Retirement. Took a little time off then moved from Virginia to NM.

Education: Received GED while serving in U.S. Navy. Attended TVI of NM for one year studying small business management.
