Waitstaff Members’ Bios Jim Boyle has worked as a professional actor for the past six years in Philadelphia, Washington DC, and New York. Locally he has worked with Fictitious Theatre Company, The Brick Playhouse, and Walnut Street Theatre among others. He has done extensive work in both TV and print ads.

Jeremy Chacon has performed locally at People’s Light and Theater, PTC, T H E A T R I X, B’Someday, and Fictitious, among others. Most recently he performed with Vagabond Acting Troupe in “The Crucible,” and The Brick Playhouse in “Vindication Illinois.” He has also directed for both The Brick and Vagabond.

Sara Carano is a graduate of the University of the Arts with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She has also worked with the Brick Playhouse Genuine Myth Productions, American Family Theatre, and with Mynnelou Productions in Tony and Tina's Wedding. Sara has also appeared in the TV show “Hack,” the movie “National Treasure” and in "Pen Pals" a national commercial to bring gay tourists to Philadelphia.

Dennis DiClaudio, a core member of the improv troupe Next Line, has been performing comedy in Philadelphia for more than five years. His play, “The Writer's Mind,” debuted in the 2002 Philadelphia Fringe Festival and was performed this year in the New York International Fringe Festival. His short fiction can be found in numerous journals, including “Pindeldyboz,” “Eyeshot,” “La Petite Zine” & “The Blue Moon Review.” He is also an editor for “Ducky Magazine” and "(parenthetical note)." Currently he works on Comedy Central’s Insider website.

Gerre Garrett, in addition to her work as a Teaching Artist for Philadelphia Young Playwrights, is an adjunct instructor at Cabrini College and Drexel University. Her voice is heard locally in industrial films and commercials, and nationally on two television series for the Discovery Network. Her acting credits include, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Misery, Dancing at Lughnasa and Blown Sideways through Life. Steve Lippe has a multitude of local theatre credits, notably Theatre Exile, Vagabond Acting Troupe, and The Brick Playhouse, where he has created dozens of roles. Feature films include Woody Allen's "Celebrity," Alison Mclean's "Jesus' Son" and most recently in Disney’s feature “Enchanted”. TV credits include "Late Night with Conan O'Brian" and "The Chris Rock Show."

Christopher McGovern is a regular performer at stand-up comedy venues throughout the tri- state area and the creator of the 2002 Fringe hit “Jersey Boy.” Chris co-created 2003 Fringe hit, “The Lazy Activist,” with Brat Productions’ Madi Distefano.

Lydia English Morris holds a BA in Theatre from Roanoke College, Salem VA. Lydia has, in the past two years, worked as an actor and/or director at several local & suburban theatres including The Brick Playhouse, Freedom Theatre, Players Club of Swarthmore, and Colonial Playhouse.

Joe Quirk has performed in a plethora of productions and venues throughout the Philadelphia area and Delaware, as well as in several local and nationally televised commercials. He writes comedy pieces as part of a pre-show program for The Delaware Shakespeare Festival, and also performs regularly at The Johnson House, educating the community about the Underground Railroad. Joe has studied Dramatic Arts at Hofstra University and Delaware County Community College.

Kurt Runco has worked with several area theatres including Vagabond, The Arden, Azuka Theatre Collective, Walnut Street Theatre, and The Brick Playhouse. He was last seen outside of The Waitstaff in Eternal Spiral Project’s production of “Miss Julie.” Kurt also co-wrote and performed in the 2001 Philadelphia Fringe Festival hit, "Brinskmanship!"

Carolyn West has had over 75 short plays produced around the U.S. by more than 20 theater companies. Locally her work has been performed by such theaters as The Brick Playhouse, City Theater Company of Wilmington, T H E A T R I X, and The Theoretical Theater Company. 18 of her plays and short stories have been published and/or anthologized.
