Lane End Farm Trust is urgently looking for a new Treasurer who will be part of a team of trustees leading a small, dynamic and very special local charity based at Abney, near Hathersage in North Derbyshire.
The Trust provides a simple environment of real quality where disabled and disadvantaged young people can be at one with nature and connect with their beautiful surroundings and our animals. We cater for young adults from all walks of life; inner city, deprived, abused, neglected, disabled (both mentally and physically), or with learning difficulties and behavioural problems.
The turnover of the Trust is less than £100K but is growing its operation and is creating new services such as ‘Riding High’ and ‘Home from Home’. Consequently it urgently needs to become more sustainable, develop more robust revenue streams and to fundraise for capital projects.
