Philosophy for Evaluation:

It is the expectation of Tri-County that providers to students are continually growing and sharpening their skill. The purpose of this staff evaluation tool is to provide effective and continuous feedback to allow for enhancement of knowledge and performance of the paraprofessional. Areas of strength are valued and areas that are not observed or an area of weakness should be targeted as an area for continued growth. The evaluation process provides an opportunity for the supervising teacher/staff to communicate about areas of need. The ultimate purpose is to inspire professional growth.

Directions: Supervising teacher(s)/staff will check each bulleted box that is observed on a regular basis. The rubric moves from left to right. A performance area is met (Developing, Proficient, Accomplished, or Distinguished) once all boxes in a column are marked and all boxes to the left in the prior columns are marked. Any area that is Developing or Not Demonstrated requires a Professional Growth Plan. Any bullet that is Non-Applicable should be marked with NA.
