The Gate to the Dark World Officially Opens Tomorrow! The edgy and eerie Haunted Halloween to come to life at Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong (September 24, 2007) The spectral energy at Hong Kong Disneyland has reached a fervent level, as the Park prepares to launch the Haunted Halloween, a totally immersive and intense never-before-seen Halloween experience that will take guests to the edge of their sanity and back again, from September 25 until October 31, 2007.

A premier concept among all Disney theme parks, the Haunted Halloween combines avant- garde technology with rich Halloween tales. The Dark World and its characters will come to life in highlights such as, the Main Street Haunted Hotel, the Glow in the Park Halloween Parade and Space Mountain – Ghost Galaxy.

With extended Park hours until 11:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and on October 31, as well as a Halloween evening ticket (HK$198 – all ages) for entry after 6:30pm, the Haunted Halloween will offer flexibility for guests to be frightfully delighted this season!

The Main Street Haunted Hotel As the edgiest walk-through Haunted Hotel experience ever presented by a Disney theme park, living haunts and specters will appear around ever corner of this hotel to make guests cringe at every creak and sound they hear.

- more - A Hollywood class production team created this thrilling attraction filled with eye-opening scene settings, audio and theatrical effects and spooky show direction. With multiple heart pounding scenarios, Guests will creep fearfully through this once graceful and elegant hotel that has not seen the light of day for a century!

The Glow in the Park Halloween Parade Appearing in his premiere parade, the larger-than-life heart throb Jack Skellington leads this all-new spooky seven float parade along with his friends to show Guests the meaning of a true party – Halloween Town style.

Watch out! This hair-raising parade will undergo a complete transformation under mysterious UV lights and reveal frightening Halloween surprises along the way. With world class choreography, spooky costumes, innovative outdoor UV technology, an all-new musical score and scary hair and makeup on Cast Members, guests will be frightened out of their wits while taking part in the “glowing antics”!

Space Mountain – Ghost Galaxy Possessed during the Haunted Halloween only, the supersonic roller coaster ride through the dark depths of space has become a heart pounding scream fest filled with ghoulish monstrosities. With an all-new soundtrack and eerie 3-D visual effects, guests will meet ominous apparitions and spine chilling phenomenon around every corner!

Additional Spooky Experiences No corner of the Park has escaped the influence of the Dark World and its frightening energy. Guests can take scary Halloween pictures at the Sleeping Beauty Courtyard where The Haunted Tree and the Pumpkin People have taken over, or in Adventureland where special photo corners have been set up for encounters with evil Disney Villains, including Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmatians), Jafar (Aladdin), Captain Hook (Peter Pan) and Disney’s very own Grim Gatekeepers, in Boo the Villains.

Of course the Fabulous Eight, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Chip n’ Dale, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck will sport eerie Halloween costumes and help guests create “Haunting Memories”. For a spooky drawing experience, Disney Artists at Animation Academy will teach guests how to draw Jack Skellington and Vampire Mickey! During weekends of the Haunted Halloween at Hong Kong Disneyland, children and adults alike can take part in Halloween Treats! Guests are welcome to dress up and join the edgy fun at Hong Kong Disneyland this Halloween season!

- more - For stomach turning yet delectable dishes, food lovers will find more than 100 innovative Halloween themed items all around the Park and in the two Disney themed hotels. From eye balls staring from fizzy drinks to themed desserts such as Black Spider Mousse on Bloody Web, all ghosts and haunts will have their fill this Halloween season!

For spooky shopping, over 130 all-new Halloween themed items will be available throughout the Park and the two Disney themed hotels. These items will revolve around two themes: “Mickey Family at Halloween” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas - Jack Skellington with Romantic Roses”. With a variety of spooky items such as, mugs, key chains, pins, plush toys, consumables, T-shirts and costume accessories, together with a series of glow-in-the- dark items, guests will be able to deck themselves out to join the Halloween fun!

Haunted Halloween Lucky Draw To add to the Halloween excitement, a daily lucky draw will be held at 1:00pm and 8:00pm! Prizes include an uncanny Haunted Halloween Feast for four at Corner Cafe and a Haunted Halloween Gift Hamper. All guests holding valid park tickets for the Haunted Halloween will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw1.

Special Hotel Offer for Hong Kong Residents Hong Kong Residents looking for a continuous spooky scream fest, can book a special hotel offer. During the Haunted Halloween period, guests who book a room at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel at rack rate (check-in dates from September 25 to December 20, 2007, except for September 30 and October 19, 2007) will receive two complimentary “Stay & Play for 2 Days” tickets for admission to the Park. Reservations can be made by calling the Hong Kong Disneyland Reservation Center at (852) 1-830-830 before October 31, 20072.
