LEGION OF MARY: Pilgrimage to Aylesford Priory in honour of Venerable Edel Quinn on Saturday 7th May. Pick up here 8.20am. Coach costs: Adults £12 & children (up to 14yrs) £6.50. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: The parents meeting date has been changed to Wednesday 4th May at 7.30pm (as we have the Mass of Confirmation on May 5th). LUTON MAY PROCESSION: will be at at St Martin de Porres on Sunday 8th May at 3.00pm. The theme will be “Mary, Mother of Mercy”. The service will include the traditional crowning of Our Lady, praying the Rosary and a procession. Tea in the hall. All welcome. RIP: please pray for and James Hagan, Requiem: Thursday 12th May at 11.00am, both of Fr Mirek’s parents who died within a week or so of each other and Gerald Dempsey (brother of Oonagh Fowler) who died recently. The weekend is organised by the sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ) and the theme is “Discerning God’s Call in my life”. TOWN CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION: will be held here on Sunday 29th May. We hosted the first one ten years ago and it now has come full circle, with our turn arriving again. Please note the date and plan to come & witness to your Catholic Faith by being seen on the streets with Our Blessed Lord in the Sacrament at 3pm. All organisations, groups, schools & servers are encouraged to process as well. Refreshments afterwards. BIN TAG REWARDS: Sacred Heart Primary School are collecting these. KNIGHTS OF ST COLUMBA: congratulations to Wesley Weekes who was elected unanimously as Grand Knight of Luton Council after Roger Smith stepped down from the post. If you would like to know more about the knights, the next meeting will be on Thursday 19th May, 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.
