(a) and (b) show no dependence on b and are consistent with a single anisotropic layer under station TICO. (c) shows that  is dependent on b and may be an indication that two anisotropic layers exist under station PASU. In the fore-arc (a) the SKS fast axes are oriented NE-SW, whereas in the back-arc (c) the SKS fast axes are oriented N-S.
