Purpose: To learn the different parts of the house in French You will need: A posterboard (24x36), old magazines, colorful markers for borders and decorations.
You should draw a floor plan of your house (or your dream house). Label all the rooms in FRENCH. Make sure you use a definite article with each noun (Le, la, les, l’). Floor plan should be illustrated by colorful pictures and/or drawings.
Your floor plan should include 10 or more items (Entrance, kitchen, formal living, family room, dining room, 1 or more bedrooms, full bath, half a bath, garage, garden, pool, game room, laundry room, tv room, … See pages 200-201 in your textbook)
Grades will be determined as follows:
Each room is 6 points (2 points for correct article and 4 points for noun) 10 items x 6 = 60 points 60 (-1 point per missing accent) Poster is neat, attractive and colorful 20 points 20 Presentation in class 20 Total 100
This is a Test grade. th Project is due in class on Friday, February 12 , 2016
PS: 10 points will be deducted per day late. Last day to accept late projects is February 17. Complete heading on the back in the upper left corner (4 points will be deducted for incomplete or missing headings).
