CAREER ASPIRATIONS:
I wish to be employed in a position suitable for my education with scope to make use of my past experience. I hope to be up to date with new trends of teaching English language and to use creative techniques inside my classes. I'm willing to work in a team and interested in exchanging ideas with others. I always seek professional development through reading periodicals, having training courses, surfing the web, and attending conferences. I'm looking forward to getting down to my PhD in the near future.

COMPUTER SKILLS: I have good command of Win XP, Office XP, Win Vista and surfing the web. I am also used to developing educational materials using Power Point templates and Hot Potatoes software. I was selected by the Educational Enhancement Program (EEP) to train primary and preparatory teachers on teaching English using computers. This basic CALL course lasted for three weeks and was conducted in two different cities.
2 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
. I was working as an English language teacher at the prep stage from 1997 to 2005.
. I was working as an English language teacher at the secondary stage from 2005 to 2008.
. I have attended the 9th & the 11th International EFL Skills Conference held at the American University in Cairo.
. I was selected by the Education Reform Program (ERP) to participate in a Focus Group including 15 top teachers to discuss questionnaire items designed for developing the educational system in Egypt.
. I have established a School English Language Unit for improving language proficiency of teachers of other subjects (not English).
. I used to deliver lectures to senior teachers and supervisors at the Local Bureau monthly held downtown.
. I have developed some papers related to teaching English language skills and teaching short stories.
. I had a 2-week training at Nasr city to work as a trainer for Berlitz Language Center, but I couldn't got a leave from the Ministry of Education due to shortage of teachers.
. I have participated actively in organizing and presenting a workshop at the Partnership for Learning Conference sponsored by the US Department of State and held in Assiut from February 14 to February 15, 2007. . I was invited by the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt to share my experience in the pre-departure orientation for Egyptian teachers who will participate in the Partnership for Teaching (P4T)-2007 Program.
