Master's Program in International Management (MIM) The program focuses on business and management in the greater Baltic Sea economic and geo-political region. It is particularly suitable for those students seeking a Baltic and Eastern European perspective to their studies. Program courses are adjusted and updated as necessary to ensure subjects are current on regional development and comprise courses of business administration, economics, ethno-geography, law and political science. Entrance requirements include a university degree in core general business administration subjects. A proficiency test in English is required for foreign student admission and English is the language of course literature and instruction. A master’s thesis (15 ECTS) is completed in the spring term wherein students conduct research on business or management subjects generic to the extended Baltic Sea economic region. Students receive a Master of International Management (MIM) degree on successful completion, a degree of the advanced level which corresponds to the Swedish Magisterexamen. On Campus: Full time study, Fall 2007 – Spring 2008 Subject: Business Administration and Management Number of Places: 30 Specific Entrance Requirements: Swedish Bachelor Degree in general Business Administration with 1.5 years of core business courses, International Relations, or equivalent foreign degree.

Master’s Program in International Trade, Law and Treaties (MITL) For students considering a career within international commerce and trade this degree offers a comprehensive one-year program of study in international commercial law and treaties with a Baltic Sea regional perspective. The main subject theme is International Trade and Business Law supplemented with specific topic courses in International Corporate Law, Market Competition Law, and Common Market Law. The program offers a solid foundation for employment in international business in general and in the Baltic region in particular. English is the language of instruction, of course literature and requisite for the master’s thesis (15 ECTS). An English language proficiency test is required for foreign student admission. The degree of Master of International Trade, Law and Treaties (MITL) is granted by Gotland University and this degree of the advanced level corresponds to the Swedish Magisterexamen.
