There was a discussion concerning the poor condition of the road in front of the Good Intent Hose Co. where the Township dug it up for a water line. Township officials were under the impression they would dig for the water line, cover it with stone and the Good Intent would overlay it when they did their parking lot. Both Joe Pothering and Jimmy Pothering said they did not recall that agreement and that at this time the Good Intent is not in a position to pave the parking lot. Robert Yeager suggested we get estimates for the work and share the expense. No vote was taken All of the missing street signs in the Township have been replaced. Stolen street signs continue to be a problem. The sign for the “Walking Trail” has been re-lettered. Branch Township designated Sunday, October 27th as “Trick-Or-Treat” night to co-inside with Minersville. There was a discussion that Minersville may change nights or even be forced to cancel the parade. We will call the Borough of Minersville to make sure their plans have not changed. A 2014 budget work session was scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2013, 2:00 P.M. at the Memorial Building. This session will be advertised and open to the public. John Purcell read the police report into the record. A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Jack Purcell, seconded by Joe Pothering, all Supervisors in favor.
Respectfully Submitted, Joyce M. Beach, Secretary/Treasurer
