MONDAY: Envisions: Lesson 5-1 Multiplying by 1-Digit Numbers – Topic 5 Opener pages 94-95 STANDARD: 2.1.5. Objective: 1. Students will use basic multiplication facts and numbers patterns to multiply by multiples 2.5.5. 2.6.5. of 10 and 100.

Procedure: 1. Complete Problem of the Day and Daily Spiral Review at the beginning of class as groups using the Promethean Board. 2. Guided instruction with the class on the Guided Practice problems using the Promethean Board and chalk board. Students will also use their notebooks to answer problems and will complete Independent Practice in their note book. Assessment: Quick Check worksheet and review or oral review or one problem on the white board before the students leave. Assignment: 5-1 Re-teach and Practice Worksheets.

Read and discuss pages. 12 – 15 discussing vocabulary and other material. 2. discuss Pennsylvania’s climate and weather and how it is seasonal based on it’s location in the United States.

Procedure : 1. Read and discuss pages 16 – 21. Discuss the vocabulary and the natural resources that are present in our area. 2. Have students work in groups to make a poster to discourage different types of pollution.
