The Senior Presentation Will Take Place During Halftime

THE SENIOR PRESENTATION WILL TAKE PLACE DURING HALFTIME.

The Senior parents need to come out of the bleachers at the end of the 2nd quarter and gather by the gate next to the concession stand near the main entrance. Each parent will be given a flower to hand to their child. If you want to bring your own flowers that too is acceptable. When the parents have all been given your flowers, you need to then go onto the field through the gate and stand together on the track. During the performance of the visiting band, you will need to stand down in front of where the band sits in the stands. When it is time for our band to perform you are to then walk down out on the track and stand up against the bleachers facing the field and facing the yardline area where your child will be standing when their name is called (refer to chart). Once the band has completed the halftime marching drill you will need to allow the "Box Crew" to fold up the Drum Major Boxes and move them out of the way. The Senior parents then need to step up and stand where the green astro-tuff begins about 4 feet from the sidelines, and face the area where your child will be standing on the sidelines.

When the name of your senior is called the please wait until their child is in place on the sidelines then approach your senior, hand them a rose then stand on either side of their child. Once the last senior's name has been announced (Morgan Wiley) the next announcement will be "Ladies and Gentlemen, the senior band members for 2012-2013". Please remain standing next to your child during this applause. Once the applause has stopped you are then to return back up against the bleachers and wait for the announcement for the Band Beau and Sweetheart. Once this announcement has been made, all seniors will rejoin the band and march off the field with them. Once the Drum Majors have dismissed the band the seniors will join you all on the north end of the field so that pictures can be taken. PLEASE! ANY senior parents that cannot attend the game need to be sure and let us know so that we can have a proxy "stand-in" parent take your place with your child so they are not left standing alone when their name is called. HALFTIME ANNOUNCEMENTS

Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting the Pride of the Eagles Military Marching Band. The Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Morgan Wiley and Ashlee Beascochea. Flag Captain is Katie Bailey. The Band competed in the National Association of Military Marching Band Contest this past Saturday and were selected as the outstanding 5A Band. Let’s give the band a big hand for this accomplishment. (applause) Tonight we would like to dedicate this performance to the senior members of the band who will march in Turner Stadium for the final time.

At the end of the drill the announcer will say this:

At this time we would like to recognize the senior band members. These students have given at least 7 years of dedicated service to the Band Program. As we call each name we would like for each senior to come forward to the sidelines so that we can honor you.
