Oakfield / Alexander Soccer Clubs Present: 5 th Annual 6 v 6 Shootout Tournament

Dear Coach:

You are invited to the 5th Annual Oakfield / Alexander 6v6 Shootout Tournament. Our first tournament of the year saw 21 teams in 5 divisions participate in a great day of soccer. Our 2nd tournament will be Saturday August 1st, which will be held at Alexander Central Schools. Our tournament will be played on 55-yard by 35-yard fields, and will be played 6v6 plus goalies. We will offer both boys and girls divisions in each age group (U11, U13, U15, U17, U19). In the event that there is not enough for an age group to take place, we will offer the teams an opportunity to move up an age division or refund your money.

The registration deadline is July 24th for the August 1st Tournament.

We have up to 7 fields available for play which allows the tournament to be over by 5pm under most circumstances. We will also have concessions available for players and spectators on site.

The cost to enter a team is $150. It is the responsibility of the coach to ensure that all of their players are properly insured before attending the tournament. Coaches should have a NYSW certified roster or be prepared to show proof of insurance for all of their players. Valid player passes are also acceptable, but you must have a roster.

Rules for the tournament are attached. The idea behind this tournament is that it is roughly ½ a soccer field with roughly ½ the number of players. Most everything else is the same (rules, etc) with a few minor changes, which are listed on the rules page.

Winning teams will receive 13 championship t-shirts. All teams are guaranteed 3 games.

Players may play in multiple age divisions as long as they are age appropriate, however we cannot schedule games to accommodate this. If there are any questions please contact Tim Grimes via email ([email protected]) Chad Flint via phone 585-259- 2968 or email ([email protected]).
