Have you heard of our Care and Repair Renfrewshire Small Repairs / Handyperson Services?

Have you encountered any difficulties in repairing and maintaining your home?

We are currently carrying out a partnership review of our Care & Repair Renfrewshire – Small Repairs and Handyperson Services. These services are funded jointly by East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire Councils and are open to residents subject to the following eligibility criteria:

Small Repairs Service* Handyperson Service

Owner-occupiers and private landlord Owner-occupiers, council tenants, tenants in the following client groups: housing association tenants and private landlord tenants in the following client groups:

*We cannot undertake any small repair works which are the responsibility of the council or housing association.

To enable us to improve and target assistance appropriately, we would like to hear your views on these services and managing general small repair or ‘Do it Yourself’ (DIY) tasks around your home.

We have attached a list of tasks typically undertaken by the Small Repairs / Handyperson services and a short survey for you to complete with a useful contacts page. This survey is completely anonymous and the information you provide will allow us to review and improve the assistance we can offer.

We will be looking to hold a couple of ‘Focus Group’ sessions in East Renfrewshire, in January / February 2014 where you will have the opportunity to meet with other residents over tea/coffee and biscuits and discuss what small repair and maintenance tasks are important to you and learn more about our review.
