14. FYI-I do not believe in curving grades or rounding up. You earn your grade, I record it.

15. Homework Policy:

16. Students will be given sufficient notice for any assignment, quiz, or exam. There are assigned readings of the textbook at times and other assignments. Vocabulary terms will be given each unit that is layered. It is imperative that homework is turned in on time and complete, so the class will fully understand the material covered. If a student is absent, they have a week to make up the work. If homework is turned late, it will be docked 25% for the first day it is late. On the second day, it will be docked 50%, any day after it is considered a zero. Homework is considered late, if it is not turned in AT THE TIME IT IS DUE.

17. Makeup Work: 18. If a student is gone on an excused absence, they have one week to make up the work. Being absent from school even on an extra-curricular activity, does NOT mean you are exempt from work. If a student is gone on an unexcused absence, they cannot get the points for that day (even if assignments are online). When there are project grades or notebook checks, you should come and talk to me about the grade if you have an unexcused absence.
