Put these 5 items on your desk and in front of you. Get into groups of 3 or 4. Each person asks you about one or two of the items by asking: “Where or how did you get this ______?”

Answer using the sentences you have made. The other students write down your answer in the spaces on the opposite side of this page. Every person in the group must explain each item.

STEP 1: Each student makes 5 True or False sentences like the example below using items they have with them.

STEP 2: Put these 5 items on your desk and in front of you. Get into groups of 3 or 4. One person holds up one of their items and reads the True or False statement about it.

The other students guess True or False for that item and make a wager. If they guess wrong, their wager goes to the item’s owner. If a student guesses correctly, they get their wager back and students move on to the next item until all students have read their True or False statements.

The student in each group that has the most “money” at the end wins.
