PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Creating a winning environment and implementing structures for promoting the development of Bay of Plenty players. Support and enhancing the three key aspects of players individual development (technical/tactical, holistic/metal, and physical/nutrition).

Job Description: BOP Head Coach Rep Team 1 Bay of Plenty Rugby

Job Description: BOP Head Coach Rep Team 2 Bay of Plenty Rugby KPA KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WEIGHTING Leadership . Ensures that there is a shared understanding, 20% adoption and monitoring of values by team members. . Is approachable and available to players and team management. . Demonstrates cultural awareness in interaction with players. . Is open to feedback and criticism. . Resolves interpersonal differences in a constructive manner. . Recognises issues and problems early and resolves them effectively. . Works well with other members of team management both individually and as a group. . Demonstrates personal credibility, honesty and high integrity. Represents BOPRU in a professional manner at all times. . Handles pressure and stress appropriately. . Has significant influence in the development of the team vision, standards and protocols. Motivates players to achieve the vision. . Fosters attitudes, conditions and environment which promote quality and consistency of performance. Team Selection  Selection policies, protocols and process as determined 15% by BOPRU are adhered to.  Demonstrates sound principles and methodology in the selection of the squad.  Replacement player procedures followed. i.e injuries, unavailability etc Team Method  Works closely with support staff and BOPRU HPU to 15% ensure that player welfare, health and safety is given priority at all times.  Develops and explains effective game plans tailored for team success, taking into account the opposition.  Demonstrates an ability to be innovative in the development of – games plans, moves/tactics, training sessions, drills and off-field initiatives through up to date rugby knowledge and coaching experience.  Is aware of all current rugby rules and trends
