The Pageant is open to young ladies ages 12 (and must turn 13 by the Miss California Pageant) – 17 -- 17-year olds cannot turn 18 on or before July 31, 2015 (17-year old seniors, Class of 2015, can compete in the Miss Los Angeles County Pageant.) If a contestant turns 18 before this date, she must compete as a ‘Miss’ contestant. There is a $150.00 non-refundable Entrance Fee. Phases of competition include: Private Interview, Physical Fitness, Talent, and Evening Wear. This is an official preliminary to California’s Outstanding Teen and America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant under the Miss California/Miss America Organizations to reward excellence in our Teen and introduce them to the Miss America Scholarship Program. The winner will receive a $250.00 Scholarship and a trip to represent the Los Angeles area at the 2015 California Outstanding Teen Competition to be held in Fresno, California June 23-27, 2014). NOTE: Contestant must be available the weekend prior for the Interview.
